I use these lightweight storage containers as gifts for teas I blend. They close tight while being easy to open, even for arthritic hands. The contents will stay encased should the can tip. They are sturdy and stylish. I add black craft labels and write the blend name with a white gel pen. The look is distinctive and professional and makes a reasonably priced hostess gift. 8 oz tea capacity is an ample hostess gift with future refills for birthday or Christmas. They are perfect for my purposes.

Nice tins but smaller than I realized
I ordered these tins to hold different varieties of my loose tea leaves that come in packages rather than tins. The color and style match my Harley and Sons tea canisters. Unfortunately these hold less than half and look like mini canisters on my tea shelf. Guess I will use them for Christmas gift baskets.
