I love these so much! I sleep so much better. I had firm pillows that hurt my neck. I had to go to my chiropractor to fix. Now I’m fine and continue to be so because of these pillows. Some people say they flatten. They do slightly but still support without wrenching my neck. If they didn’t, your head would be constantly arched. That’s what hurt mine with the old (expensive) pillow. I had goose down and feather pillows going up. I loved those. I’ve been trying to find them ever since. Thank you Amazon! 😁 I’m older and retired, so this price is amazing! Their appearance is normal, they are high & fluffy, but they cradle you! I don’t think you’d be disappointed. I bought a second set just so I’d have them for a long time!🙂

So I did everything the instructions told me on how to fluff the pillow after removing it from the plastic wrap. I even left the pillow to sit for a few hours before using it. Yet, as the night progressed, it became very flat. I have used a pillow very similar to puredown's before and had a similar issue, but not to the extent. It felt like all the air I put into it go shushed out. This is my 1st time owning a pillow like this so, this could be a normal experience that I'm unaware of. I mostly sleep on my side and occasionally on my back, so perhaps it's not great for back sleeping. I still believe its better then the memory foam pillow I was using previously. I would say my quality of sleep was better due to the support for my neck felt comfortable not elevated like my memory foam pillow. The firmness was nice when it was still filled with air until it became flat towards the end of my sleep. This review was written after my 1st nignt of using the pillow. Edit: (few weeks later) 3 stars to 5. I actually really love this pillow now! I should have read a bit more about feather down pillows before making my review. It can take up to a week for them to fluff up nicely with a bit of aggressive fluffiing after you wake up. I love it more now then my memory foam pillow I use to have. I hardly have any hip pain or neck stiffness from sleeping!

As a kid I had this pillow that my mother gave me. Standard sized. That pillow I used into my early 20’s. It was nothing expensive. she got it from Anne & Hope. (Old school store) I always used pillow protectors and I do wash my pillows. I would bring that pillow with me if I was sleeping at a hotel or a girlfriend’s house. I remember she went to bed before me, and was using my pillow. That girl begged me to let her sleep with it. I told her I cant sleep on those polyester pillows. I need it. She begged and begged. I am such a jerk I didn’t give in. But i knew I wouldn’t have slept. Long story short, I got a king bed at 22 and I figured it could use some new pillows. I tested so many to see if it felt like the one my ma got me. And these were 50 dollars to 80 dollar pillows and I hated them. I finally looked at the tag on that pillow I had all those years that I loved so much. I knew it had feathers. But I wanted to get 2 or 3 of that same one. So i looked at the tag. It read 95% goose down feathers and 5% goose down. I finally knew what was in that pillow. I looked everywhere. Most were reversed. 5% goose down feathers and 95% goose down. Some were with duck feathers. Hated all of them. An overpriced $250 dollar Gel foam pillow came with my over priced bed. Hated it. I finally typed in amazon 95% goose down feathers, 5% goose down. I like standard size so i can ball it up. This combo of feather to down, lets you ball it up. I cant do that with a gel foam or a polyester or all goose down. I cant not tell you how many stores I searched to find that same pillow that my ma got me so many years ago. You have to read closely, some say 95% but it has foam in it. I am talking on amazon. Look close. These were the same tag as my lifelong favorite pillow. Different brand of course. Price is great for 2. This thing is as close to my pillow that I grew up and was searching for for years. I bought 2 I think 2 years ago. I didn’t even want to try a different brand. I searched my order history, found them. I ordered them again. Do yourself a favor. Get follow enclosed pillow protectors.But don’t get the ones that feel like a tarp or a shower liner. The ones I got were not expensive. Water proof. Feel like its part of the pillow. That way, I can just keep washing my pillow cases and add a new pillow protector when needed.. Ever sleep on someone else’s bed and even if they are a clean person. Their scent is on the pillow. It annoys me. I never want that to happen if someone stays over here. Actually I prefer no one sleeps with me. Sleep is for sleep. Married, dating, Idc. Go to your own room and bed. Why do I need to sleep next to someone and have to have them disrupt my slumber. It’s a nice thing to sleep with your wife. But it is also very old school. Excellent pillows. But that is the recipe. It must say 95%goose down feathers and 5% goose down. Thats the stack. You wont find these at target, or macy;’s. Best pillow and people like to sleep on a brick. That may be all they know. I don’t see how you could try this pillow and hate it. It wouldnt make sense to me. I can sleep on my back. Sleep on my side. I can even stack two and it just works. It’s the simple things. I am an expert, my slumber is crucial or you don’t want to talk to me. Your welcome if you reading this haha.

I bought the option with the cotton cover and it is of very thick and high quality. You cannot see any of the feathers beneath the cover. Very comfortable to sleep on. Retains its shape and has medium firmness. I had bought other pillows that were much more expensive and they don't match the quality of these. Would buy again. I recommend.

I've used "regular" pillows for years. I learned that you get what you pay for with pillows. I also learned that I liked slightly overfilled pillows, as they don't go flat as easily and last longer.... ANYWAY, recently stayed at a hotel that had down pillows and it kinda lit a fire to try some down pillows again. I had not tried down pillows in years, I remember not liking them because they tend to poke through the pillow case, and are super flat. But I was due for new pillows and wanted to give them a try. Did some quick research and ended up here with these pillows. Lots of good reviews, not an outrageous price, but also not super cheap either which I learned to stay away from... I thought these would be a good place to start. Long story short, I don't think I would buy these again. Either I'm just not a fan of down pillows (I don't think that's the case!), or these pillows simply are not filled enough. If you're looking for down pillows that don't go flat, either they don't exist or these are not what you are looking for, because these do go flat. Even using two of them, they end up going flat. It's nice if you're a back/side/stomach sleeper and toss and turn around a bit, but I need a bit more support than... flat. Next time I will do a little more research, I should have known better but oh well. Sometimes you do a quick Amazon search, find the popular item with good reviews, go for it and win. This is a loss for me. I won't throw these pillows away, they are usable, but they're not what I was looking for. Next time I will probably end up spending a little more and find some down pillows with a bit more filling. PROS? These aren't bad! The hotel ones I used were flat as well but it was a really cheap hotel, so... The hotel ones poked me a bit, these actually do not. Now I've only used the pillows a couple times and have not washed them yet, but I get zero feathers poking out so far, which is great. I saw some reviews saying there were some smells, but these had zero weird smells out of the package. No mustiness or anything. At the end of the day... These are not worth the money. There are cheaper down pillows on Amazon and surely they can't be any more flat than these. If this company offered other filling sizes I would totally repurchase the ones with more filling, but I don't see that option anywhere.

These pillows offer a soft, plush feel while still providing decent neck support. Down fill feels evenly distributed without clumping into one side. Fabric casing feels smooth and doesn't poke through with loose feathers. They've held up well after multiple washes without losing loft. Great choice for anyone who prefers a softer sleeping pillow.

Tried Down Alternative pillows. Not Downy at all. Returned them and ordered these. Buying pillows can be such a crap shoot. I grew up with Down pillows. Cool to the touch. Shapes to and cradles your head. These fit the bill! Put them in the dryer to fluff up nice and big. Cool on my face and compresses just enough to offer Firm Support. And in the middle of the night just roll over or flip it to the cool side of the pillow and drift back to sleep. Not $150 pillows, would never pay that much, but close to the classic down pillows I grew up with, feathers and all.

He probado varios tipos de almohada (viscolastica, Ikea de varios tipos, etc...) y con casi todas me levantaba con dolor de cuello. Con estas me encuentro muy cómodo en todas las posturas porque yo me muevo mucho por la noche. Cuando te pones de lado, sólo tienes que apretar un poco por un lateral y coge la altura y dureza perfectas en mi opinión. Espero que duren porque, si lo hacen, serán una grandísima compra. Le he puesto unas fundas Duractron y la sensación es de estar en la cama de un buen hotel.
