I am thoroughly pleased with these guitar strings. they’re probably twice as much as average strings, but they’re worth every penny. Plus I really believe they save me from buying another guitar. Because my old guitar sounds incredible now. But more than sounds incredible. It’s so much easier to play. We’re talking an acoustic guitar that plays about as easy as an electric guitar now. Yes they’re expensive. But I understand they last much longer than regular strings. If you’re serious about Guitar playing go ahead and invest the money. You will not regret it. I recommend you buy a three pack. You can economize a little bit that way

Best strings on the market the phosphor bronze string are warmer than the brass strings are works great on ovation acoustic and Taylor Big Baby I have had both types of guitars and I have been using them for over forty years

I like the sound and feel of these strings. They are comfortable to play and have a very nice tone. I’m using the 10-52 gauge on 00 and 000 bodies. I previously used D’addario Phosphor Bronze which sounded brighter to me, and were less comfortable to play, even though the string tension is basically the same. I prefer the warmer tone of the “XS” strings. I have not tried them on a larger body. The only thing I don’t care for is the packaging. They are wrapped in pairs and identified by a black or brass end. My eyes aren’t great and I prefer strings that are color coded or wrapped individually. Just my preference.

I'm the cheapest when it comes to acoustic guitar strings. $14... Was it for me. Not anymore for $7 more is sooooo worth it. The amount of string balance, sustain and clarity is amazing. These d'adario strings will make your $450 guitar sound as good as a $1000. Just amazing. And they feel great on your fingers. A lot less fatigued.... I will buys them for ever.

Move over Elixer! I’ve been playing Elixers custom light for 20+ years, these sound and feel better. A little more expensive but they have the player points. I will be buying these again!

Good. After 2 months of everyday use, signs of fraying or corrosion are only present on some wound strings around 2nd and 3rd fret and on G string around picking area, but the strings still sound like new. This gauge has perfect balance of tone and tension across strings.

Atrocious sound, my Taylor AD22 suddenly sounds like a fish can. I wanted to scale down to 011 to ease the tension on the fingers...I did so on another Taylor guitar with Martin light strings o11 and got the ease and a mellow sound, not this shrill metal string sound.

So die D'Adarrios sind seit gestern drauf und ich habe bereits 2 Stunden damit gespielt. Mein erstes Fazit: volle Begeisterung! Was die D ' Addario XS Custom Light ( 011er) für MICH haben und meine bisher favorisierten Elxir (011'er) Nanoweb 80/20 Bronze in dem Maß nicht bieten konnten. - sie fühlen sich wirklich wie unbeschichtete Saiten an und bieten auch diesen Grip und das bisher etwas "seifige" Gefühl ist völlig weg" - tonaler Glanz mit etwas mehr Presence - sehr ausgewogen im Sound und besseres Saitentrennungs- gefühl - etwas leichters Spiel beim solieren mit gelegentlichen Bendings, genau um das Quentchen, was es eben ausmacht. Angehme Haptik. - Die Elixir's haben einen Tick weniger Greifgeräusche. Das ist aber noch voll im Rahmen und ich mag diese dezente Charakteristik. - Die Langlebigkeit muss sich noch zeigen. Wir werden sehen. - Ja die XS sind knapp 3€ teurer, das sind sie mir jedoch Wert, wenn auch noch der letzte Punkt sich behauptet. Mir gefallen sie ausgesprochen gut👌 Somit zeigt sich wieder. Jeder Spieler empfindet anders und die verwendete Gitarre spielt ganz sicher auch noch eine entscheidende Rolle.
