PelicanAir 1485 Case With TrekPak Dividers (Black)

Really like the case, light and durable, I've shipped computers in it back and forth in the US, just via FedEx, and it always arrives intact and undamaged. Perfect size for 2 Intel NUCs a little switch, access point, and cables. I only gave it 4/5 stars because I'm not totally sold on the tear-apart foam that comes inside the case. It's great to be able to custom-fit the foam to my gear, however it's also surprisingly easy to destroy the foam to where you need to replace it. I'd prefer a better long-term option, like I see available on the other cases. I know I have a lot of options with my larger Pelican 1560, that just don't seem as readily available, at least on Amazon for the 1485.

I had a couple of paglink batteries and a LP4 charger in a 1600 pelican. It was heavy in the 1600, but the 1485 fits all the gear perfectly and is a fraction of the weight. Also, I can't recommend the trekpak enough, it is worth the extra $ and is perfect for a clean reconfigure.

I bought this case so my camera and lenses would be secure, dry and dust . I go ATVing a lot and take nature photos. After a long dusty ride. The case was absolutely dust and dirt free. No condensation either in the case. Well worth the money rather than buying all new camera equipment.Plus all the foam inside kept everthing in its place so no other equipment can get scratched or scuffed up.

Great durable looking build. Not happy with defective Internal gasket. Came pinched almost melted looking. Not air tight , water tight or odor tight. Would not buy again for price vs quality. Expected better. Do not recommend.Update:One of lock snaps has now broken off. Plastic has crumbled in multiple places. This box sits on a shelf in my home. It has never even left my house. No rough handling ever. It gets opened once every Friday and closed once every Friday. Pelican is more hat than cowboy in my experience. I'm going from not recommended to do not buy.

Bought this case to contain my Canon EOS 6D, a 70-150mm lens, and an array of attachments, plugins, filters etc. that make up my astrophotography kit. The case itself is fantastic and the pluck-and-pull foam is a quick way to create a custom space, though my preference would be to order a custom foam cutout, maybe later. It did the job keeping everything contained and happy for a cross-country eclipse chasing trip, so mission accomplished!

Well made as expected from pelican but this is very small.

Great lightweight, waterproof case for my medical kit. I purchased the padded organizer insert to help me with all my medical gear. Since it is lightweight it is easy to transport and throw in the back of the truck or car.

These new 'Pelican AIR' cases are notably lighter than the regular ones. I picked this up to protect a laptop, small camera, chargers & USB drives during an Antarctic Expedition.If either of us survive, I will post a followup on how well it fared. :-D

I purchased the Air 1485, it's the perfect size and durability for what I needed. It's load with about 45 pounds worth of tools/equipment. So far it seems to handle it with ease. Keeps all the electronics contained, dry and protected. So far, I'm happy - two thumbs up!

I honestly don’t care how much Pelican cases cost. I am a loyal fan of the brand and own many (MANY) Pelican cases.This case, however, was my first Air and it is awesome. Light and sturdy. Great product. Highly recommend.

Does exactly what the adverts say, stores all of my M4/3 Olympus gear in one very secure and easy to configure case (i have dividers, not foam insert). Seems very tough although it has the "air" branding and is supposed to be relatively light. Professional feel, I definitely recommend this one.

Def not thinking this would last long. Returned for another Pelican. Love Pelican. I have maybe 8 of them, this one is not at the same quality as the others. Flimsy is the single word that comes to mind.

This small case is perfect for lots of things. It is so light that one can stuff it full of heavier items and still be almost weightless. I'll be buying more models.

I own several Pelican and Storm cases, but this one has instantly become my favorite. It's incredibly light which is what I was going for since I fly often. I love it and will probably buy another in the future.

Incredible case! I use it to store a SLR, extra lens, DJI Mavic drone, and multiple accessories. I made all the interior pads wrap each item and everything fits like the case was designed to hold exactly the things I owned. Love it!
