These clippers are so good and have been working well since I bought it! Battery life lasts, and I charge it in between grooms. I have yet for the battery to die on me during my 8 hour shift. Though I do go back and forth between these clippers and my clipper vac system. So maybe purchasing an extra battery wouldn't hurt. Clips dog hair well with oster brand blades. It works for me, and my boss who owns a dog grooming salon told be to buy this brand of clippers.

I've been using mine since Dec of 2017, and I really like mine. Best to put it on the charger when washing another dog or helping customers. The charge last about 2 hrs and takes about 45 mins to recharge, I'm still using the same battery and it holds its charge almost as good as when I first got it. It's only died on me when I got over booked with large matted dogs and didn't have enough time to charge it. My main problem with it is the sound, it is loud! I have to turn it off when I'm talking to someone across the room so they can hear me. I use my back up corded clipper for puppies that are noise shy. Overall its worth the it. Just for the fact you wont be tripping on a twisted cord.

I always use a volt & to tell the truth i only got this because it was cheaper , but hey its an Oster & does not disappoint ! I like it just as much , except for the shape its the same .

I'm going to be blunt: I am so disappointed by these clippers. I am a professional dog groomer, and have been grooming for 8 years. Out of those 8 years, I've used the same pair of Oster Pro Volt series of clippers. I thought this would be an upgrade and decided to buy after a ton of research. I have owned them since February, and used them twice. They have been sitting in their box for months, being unused because I rather use my Volts. At least those are dependable and won't burn my client's dogs. Pros: Cordless. Aesthetically appealing. Fast. Cons: These clippers are heavy on the back end and awkward to hold, so it makes clipping for long periods of time difficult. The surface of the clipper is textured and they get dusty from nail shavings and dander. Blades become hot because of how fast they are. To be honest, these are my biggest purchase regret, on amazon, ever. This is not a hyperbole. It HAUNTS me. A $260 regret.

Recently bought this to replace my other cordless clipper. I love the durability of this product. It feels solid to hold and fits nicely in my hand. It holds a long charge and last through a whole day I do charge it for an hour at lunch. The only thing I don’t love is the sound. It’s quite a bit louder than my other clipper. Overall I’m happy with it. I’ve had it a month and seems to be working good!

Powerful tool works great

This is my second oster clipper. The first one was corded and lasted over 30 years until I dropped it and broke the on/off switch. This cordless unit does a great job as well. Hope it lasts as long as the original!!

Just showing how great these clippers do on detail comb cuts. These clippers have been used by me for 5 yrs. only problem I have with these clippers I cannot find clipper parts. So just ordered a new pair. Maybe some one can answer where to buy parts for the old clipper drive. cathy the groomer#

I’ve been using the 3000i since this model came out. I love them. They are fast and of a good weight. Groomers- faster clipper means that blades heat up faster so oil your blades and change them regularly

It's a great product except the start button is a little flat. Needs more grip on the button itself.
