This is a very high quality tool. It is light weight, strong and durable. The cutting tool works well on all types of fishing lines and it opens easily with the spring loaded action. I wish it had a locking mechanism to keep the pliers closed but I guess that's what the included sheath is for, which is a nice bonus. All in all, a great bargain !!

Overall, I really enjoy the set up of these pliers. Looking elsewhere they were offering simple pliers that were sort of expensive for what they were. These are extremely light, and easy to use. I really enjoy the line cutting feature on the side as well as the attached cable to keep it connected to my tackle bag for quick access and no worry of loosing them. Only thing I would like to see updated on these pliers is that being all aluminum at times if your hand is wet from the water, or slimy from a fish, it can slip around in your hand, but, that's not a deal breaker and something you trade off for a budget plier build with great other features.

Just got 2 sets of these pliers, one pair for the front of the boat & one for the back. All the excellent reviews I read for these while researching seem to be true. They are light-weight, comfortable in my hands, and the jaws align perfectly. With a light squeeze, there is a small gap between the jaws, but with a little more pressure that gap disappears and the pliers close tightly and seal shut. I will be putting these through a big stress test in a couple of weeks when I use them to run trotlines for big catfish. I will report back if there are any problems, but for now I'm 100% satisfied. Great looking product.

Amazing fishing pliers significantly priced well compared to big Brand pliers. It removes split rings so easily, I love the fact that it has a lanyard connecting it to a sleeve. It is also very light which is perfect for surf casting or a long fishing Sessions. I am very happy with this item and no longer have to worry about losing it to the lanyard . My only suggestion to improve the product is to provide a thicker lanyard.

Replacement for my old pliers which began to rust. These will not rust. Lightweight, cuts braid, very smooth action and tight tolerances. These will get a lot of use ... recommended if you need a new pair.

These pliers were a great value. They are extremely sturdy and you won't believe the light weight of these pliers given that sturdy construction. I used them to rig a new rod and reel combo. The pliers cut the braided and monofilament line with ease. Very sharp. Great looking pliers. I am extremely satisfied!

This is my first set of pliers specifically designed for fishing and I am extremely pleased with this choice. BIG difference between this and a regular set of needle nose pliers. I love the fact that the lanyard is attached to the holster which is looped through your belt because the first use was on an ocean pier at night and I was not afraid of dropping and losing them. So far, I have not had to use the Lip Gripper. All our fish were small and manageable enough to pick up by hand.

These are a great set of pliers which are durable, and have many uses. These pliers not only cut through line great but have also made replacing the trebel hooks on my lures very simple. Because of the multiple uses I now only have to bring one tool out fishing instead of carrying around line cutters, crimpers, and pliers.
