Glasseslit Half Frame Clear Lens EyeglassesI received these eyeglasses in exchange for my honest review. But I chose to review these eyeglasses out of curiosity. For years I have been spending hundreds of dollars when I buy eyeglasses. When I saw these Glasseslit Half frames at such a cheap price I wondered if I had been snookered all these years. That means ripped off.When these Glasseslit Half Frame eyeglasses arrived my high-end past purchases were vindicated. There is no comparison in quality. You get what you pay for is never more evident than these Glasseslit eyeglass frames.Maybe in a seriously desperate situation where there is no alternative these would suffice. But the situation would really need be desperate. Even then I wonder if these would really support prescription lens. Personally, I wouldn't take the chance they could. But that's just me. Perhaps some people have fared better. Other reviews I've read seem to suggest folks have. Their high praises have me wondering what they received that I didn't.These frames are not at all attractive. The lower metal part is more masculine than feminine. The upper plastic portion is more feminine than masculine. However, the size of this frame probably would not fit the face of the average man. They hardly fit my face. They are tight. Could break from strain when putting them on. There is too much inward curve of the temples (parts that fit over ears).Having written the above, my rating may surprise you. I give these Glasseslit Half Frame Clear Lens Eyeglasses five stars for quality. They live up to my expectation for eyeglass frames at this price point. These glasseslit frames are exactly what should be expected for the price. Like birds that sing, they're: "cheep, cheep, cheep, cheep, cheep."The glasses come in a cloth draw-string sack. If you want something with a hard protective case, keep shopping. There is a handy tool kit to make self-repairs. The kit has two nose pads, two replacement screws, straight edge and phillips screwdrivers.There is another side to this review and rating. The frames sent me are not the interesting color combination pictured. The plastic frame is dark, almost black, with just a faint hint of color somewhere. And seen only when held at a certain angle. The selling image is not at all reflected in the frames I received. I don't know if that is the fault of the merchant or shipping vendor. Somebody messed up. For that error I give just two stars. What I received is not what I thought I was buying. And what I received is downright inferior and ugly.This rating of seven stars averages 3 1/2 stars. Since Amazon has no in-between rating, I could go up to four or down to three. I think three stars is as much as this frame deserves.Perhaps my review would have been different were I sent something that more accurately resembles the representing floral image pictured.Then again, maybe not. The quality of the frame is still substandard regardless color. Quality is quality, good or bad.For me these Glasseslit Half Frame Clear Lens Eyeglasses represent bad quality. It is what it is. To quote an old saying: You pay your dime and you take your chances.I don't return many things to Amazon but am considering if I should return these. The repair tool kit may be worth the price to just keep these eyeglasses. Hmmmm - I wonder if that may have been the plan all along?

These were larger then expected. My daughter who is 8 really wanted them and it took a couple weeks. I tried them on and they were very round and huge. I guess it's my fault for not investigating more thoroughly before purchasing. I did receive this at a discount in exchange for an honest review. I still felt either for an adult or child it's too big! I did like the little case it came with though.

These glasses have crossed my path a few times looking around on amazon and I finally decided it was time to try them. I don't necessarily need glasses but i've always wanted them These looked like the perfect style and from the reviews they seemed very nice too. I got mine in the mail, and instantly opened the box cause I was so excited to try them out. When I first opened the box, I was very impressed with how expensive looking all this was! It came with this little sleeve case, a little screwdriver thing to fix the glasses incase they ever have a loose screw, and also came with a little cloth the clean them. I put them on and they fit so nice, they didn't feel cheap or plastic-y. They fit perfectly on my face and I usually have a hard time finding glasses that I like on me, cause I have long face and chubby cheeks. But these looked perfect. I love the gold and especially the floral detail on the top. They look very classy and feel very nice and sturdy. The only complaint I have is they have a very strong reflection, which they reflect everything. so it makes them look kinda fake. I want to get real lenses in them, cause then they wont look fake. I am in love with these glasses and I get so many compliments. This is my honest opinion. I did get this product at a discounted price in exchange for my HONEST review. and I am giving you my complete honesty!

These frames are really cute. I got the multi colored ones. They look exactly as pictur. They feel sturdy. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.
