Rubbermaid Pitcher Classic 1 Gallon Clear Base, Red Lid

Classic, high quality Rubbermaid product, which I've come to expect from this company. Works great. This is the 2nd one we've bought, after the 1st one that we've had for many years got a little scratched/etched inside and became difficult to clean the soap from. Easy to use, keep this in the frig with refrigerator iced tea in it constantly, which comes in handy here in sunny south of Virginia, ya'll. :) Don't have to boil water, I just let the frig do the work, like sun tea.

Great 1 gallon pitcher! CAUTION: Do not do, what I do to mine! You could get badly burned with hot water if you’re not careful. I’m only telling you my story so you can see how tough these pitchers are. My first Rubbermaid pitcher just gave up the ghost a couple of weeks ago. I used it to make ice tea with boiling water, steep the bags, then throw it into a refrigerator until cold. I never felt like it gave off any gasses or odd smells. It never warped. That first one lasted several years doing this torture test day in and day out! A gallon of ice tea lasts me half a week or so. It is an actual Rubbermaid brand pitcher and proved its mettle. It finally sprung a small leak after years of abuse. I had to toss it out and get a replacement. I heat up water in a kettle to boiling (or near boiling), then pour it directly into the plastic pitcher (over a sink, thinking this will be the time the bottom melts out)! It did not melt the bottom out of it after all that time. When it died I was pretty sad. It was a fun and interesting experiment. They changed the design from my earlier one. But seems to be just as tough. I make ice tea like always and the new one handles it the same. I’ll buy another after I bust this one. They clean up easy and are rugged. I can’t give it any greater praise than that.

Works great, I use them for bird seed.

We use this pitcher for so many things. It’s the perfect size and it’s well made.

It’s not the highest quality pitcher, but it’s perfect for what I bought it for, watering my outdoor hanging flower baskets in the summer. It’s lightweight, easy to pour, and holds enough water to get through several plants without constant refilling. If you need something sturdy for heavy daily use, this might not be it, but for basic outdoor watering it does the job.

In use for several years making cold coffee five days a week. A bit awkward to carry when full, but I never feel like it might break if I fill it up. Liked it so much that when the first one got misplaced, I immediately bought another one.

It isn’t exactly as picture, but it is a Rubbermaid 1 gallon pitcher though.
