The original version was good, this new version is even better!
I have been using Passwords Fast for many years, this device fits my needs. The new version has a better quality keyboard, more special characters and the auto-generate function is awesome. It took a long time to enter all my passwords from the old version to the new one, but it is time well spent. The fact that Passwords Fast DOES NOT connect to any other device is one of the most secure features any device like this could have. I had an old email account hacked recently, mainly do to my poor choice of a simple password. NO MORE simple passwords for any of my accounts and this is accomplished easily with the auto-generate function. Everyone needs to decide for themselves on how they are going to safely manage their on-line accounts (i.e. their passwords). Passwords Fast is an affordable solution with robust security.

No capitals lock or numbers lock. Misses letters.
I liked the size and color of this. Not much else. The display brightness is supposed to be adjustable. No matter how much I tried, I struggled to read the display. Ultimately I had to use a flashlight to see the screen well enough. This got difficult as you really need two hands to operate this when trying to press the buttons. I also had to constantly press two buttons just to get one capital letter. That was bad enough. If you had to immediately enter another capital you had to again, press two buttons. No caps lock feature. The same with numbers, two buttons to enter one digit. Also, when loging in it would not register the password correctly. All that combined with the fact that it gave my forearms a carpal tunnel type pain, I had enough. I never got more than three entries in. Very frustrating. I'm very sorry to say, I'm completely disappointed.

Glad I bought it
I’m going to organize my review in 3 parts: 1) Pros 2) What needs improvement 3) Overall product The device uses AES 256 encryption which is thee very best. I can’t imagine not having a device like this on hand now that I’m getting into information assurance. It’s portable; it logs you out; it has a decent UI giving you all you need; and it just looks slick. Oh yeah it can hold... what... 125 account subset details. I am VERY glad it has been recommended by reputable sources (helped me make the purchase). It is also offline— although I’m not sure how I would be able to check, if it truly is offline. Cons. . . The friggin screen doesn’t light up! 💡 how about some backlit keyboard buttons as well... (I promise you that if this device had these 2 extra things, you would see an increase in sales from word of mouth alone.) Besides that I personally have not seen any flaws, maybe the button press could be a little better... if it was possible to make the buttons like an old school Virgin Mobile LG Rumor 2 with the slide out keyboard?... it doesn’t have to slide (I love the fact that this devices thickness fits in a wallet!!!), but a different kind of button layout maybe? Overall I would totally give this as a gift to someone who is online a lot. The device is a great thickness; I have no idea how it’s so jam packed together Value for money? Heck yeah it’s worth the security. It’s amazing. It just needs LED/LCD backlights

I REALLY don't know how to rate this product!
I like this device a lot! I've got a good many years of age on me, so it took using it a little while before I finally caught on to the instructions. The instructions weren't hard to understand, it's just that I'm slow catching on at my age. If you're a little older you'll understand what I mean. Anyway, the device is compact, just slightly larger than a credit card and about as thick as 3 or 4 credit cards. It will easily fit in a shirt pocket or pants pocket and there's no problem programming your Usernames and Passwords. You can easily scroll through them to check on a forgotten password or you can enter a couple of letters of the site, such as: "19" from "19th CENTURY BANK" and it will find it for you, although I hope that's NOT your bank! Up to this point I would recommend it to anyone. BUT, here comes the rub. The 8 and the 0 are pretty much undiscernible. There is a totally unnecessary mark through the zero that makes it look like an 8. So, if you've forgotten a password that contains an 8 or a 0 or both and you find it in PasswordsFast you might still have to go with the Trial and Error method before you get into the website. For Example, you have a password that contains: 1908. In PasswordsFast the 8 and the 0 look alike. So, is it 80, 08, 00, 88. You might get locked out before you try all the possibilities. I would give it two thumbs up were it not for that one problem. In my eyes, that's reason enough not to recommend it. You might not be quite as particular about that problem. If it doesn't sound like a big deal to you, then this Password Manager would be hard to beat. It really is a top notch Password Manager. If you think you wouldn't run into the problem I described then the PasswordsFast is a good choice. I'm not trying to badmouth an otherwise good product.

Good Idea
I love the idea, but I don't think this particular product is very good. This unit is very small, the keys are small. And, while the directions were very good and the unit appeared to be very easy to use, it was either slow or unresponsive to my touch. I am returning it.

Good idea !
Great idea. This device is little bigger than business card, small enough to hold by one hand and comfortable to be operated by two. Well designed, slim and solid. Standard security devices, usually, are built to be less attractive and this one i found more appealing aesthetically. I was sceptical about membrane keyboard when placed my order, but actually I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s feels like a true push-buttons even with “hardware” clicks! User manual on one page is very instructive style “short and sweet”. Very useful searching functionality. So far so good :) To my personal “wish list” I would like to have a free note option with 128 or more characters space. For some vérifications just user and password are not enough, there are some questions and answers. Good continuation! I’ll be glad to know about future developments.

Not happy with this purchase. All items I have bought on Amazon are awesome, this was terrible.
practically useless in being able to enter things. Buttons did not respond properly and it took me at least 30 min to get one entry to go in after multiple attempts to get the correct letters and numbers entered. Directions were used diligently but it just did not function well so I don't like it and will not use it. It was ridiculous to try and use it. First time I purchased something on Amazon that i simply will throw away. Should have demanded my refund!

It had mixed reviews so I was not sure if I would really like it or not
I was a little skeptical when I started looking into this device. It had mixed reviews so I was not sure if I would really like it or not. But after receiving it I love it. It was easy to set up and easy to make entries. In each entry you can have a Description, Username and Password. There isn't anywhere to write answers to security questions but you can put a space after your password and enter that in the same box. I didn't have any problems using the keyboard on this device. You obviously can't go super fast and will have to do one key at a time. I also tested to see if I was going to lose my passwords if I ever needed to swap the battery out. I was able to remove the battery and leave it out for a few minutes and all of my passwords remained intact. If you are even a little tech savvy this device is super easy to use. Love it!

Not what I expected
This product was disappointing. The keypad is far too small to be user friendly.

Utilissimo

Passwords in ordine manuale
