Holds up to a real man
Got two chairs for my 3day hiking/camping trip. Needed something that fit in my hiking bag. These are amazing. Easy setup and fit my husband(6ft,230lbs). Only negative is my son set one up and it pinched his finger on the cloth because it's a tight fit. We can fit two chairs in our small day bag with room to spare. I'm going to buy more to keep in the car! Love them!

Possibly quality issues
Purchased 2, with the intent of buying 2 more if they worked out. I have a long overlanding trip coming up this spring and wanted to find some chairs that were comfortable, durable, and compact without breaking the bank. These seemed to fit the bill. I set one up at home to test, and it was easy to set up, break down, and repack. My wife noticed that one of the plastic pieces above the adjustable leg was cracked down the middle. I'm unsure if the crack occurred while we were testing the chair or if it was already like that..I returned both, but it's possible the chair was damaged when I received it. I would be willing to give these another shot for the price, I may have just got a dud. Everything else about them was perfect for my needs.

Great design, great price!
These chairs are great. Bought them for our kayak trips and for concerts in the park. I love that they can adjust to be taller, shorter, or to lean back if desired. Very easy to put togthwr and take apart. They are ao light too. Great design, so.much cheaper than their competition.

small chair. good enough
it will never be as comfortable or sturdy as a big chair, but i bought it because of its small size (for camping) so it is what it is. i'm a small guy so it worked for me, but some of my bigger friends kept falling backwards because they were leaning back. also, it says 320lbs capacity. i'm not too sure about that. one of my friends is 250+ pounds and one of the longer poles bent. but its ok, still works. i told him to stop sitting in my chair.

Pleased I paid 1/3 a price for this rather than the "real" ones they're replicating.
Great item and replica of the original chairs. Just like the original "Helio", installing the seat fabric the first time is very challenging. Once on though, make sure to leave it there for some time to stretch out to make the next time easier.

Got this when it was going for $20, and it was a fantastic deal. Comparable to others going for $40 and more.

You'll wonder why you waited so long to get one!
I am a bit of gear junkie, so I enjoy new, viable products for the various activities I involve myself in. I requested this particular chair as a Christmas gift last year and received it. I tested several other brands of small, lightweight, foldable camping chairs from all the big brand names...but settled on this one. Nothing wrong with the other brands products (Other than inflated pricing and I felt very unstable in Thermarest's version)...but with a seriously destroyed back, the adjustable legs kept me higher for entry and exit (a big plus for those with bad backs and knees). The shock-corded pole framing is robust and if anything eventually gives out...it'll potentially be the poly frame connectors or the nylon connecting points for the pole tips on the seat itself. But with care, I don''t forsee that occurring and I see this lasting quite a while. Caution: you don''t plop down into these style of chairs...lower yourself down...or you will, more than likely, experience frame or fabric failure from mistreatment. Those that complain of the chair fabric restricting them or "cutting" into them...or no arm supports need to stick to their Winnebago's or their Lazy-boys. These are really designed for the backpacker or minimalist hiker that normally would be seated on a log, rock or wet ground. I found the shock-cording sufficient, but shock-cording always stretches and wears out with time (like years)...no problem...just buy new shock-cording and re-string if need be (I've had to do it on several top shelf tents).I used this chair on two different month-long camping/hiking excursions this year and it functioned perfectly. Those that have used it, now want one, so I know what I'll be buying for Christmas this year. The limitation: the more I use this chair...the more I desire a higher back to support my neck...yes, I'm soft and probably sit waaay too long at a time. So I'll be adding a high back version of this camp chair to this year's Christmas list. Long and short: Part with your first communion money and buy this chair...you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.
