JoieGarlic Chopper, Plastic

This is one of my favorite kitchen gadgets! It quickly and easily chops fresh garlic into as small or big pieces you need. We definitely find ourselves using more garlic because of how easy this product makes it. It washes up well, though I recommend not submerging the top portion of this. It's not sealed tightly and water collects in it. You can take it apart to dry it but the small plastic gears that turn the blade come apart. It's not difficult to reassemble but it's more of a pain. I just use a hot soapy dish cloth to clean the top part and give it a quick rinse under running water. Overall, I love this product and would buy it again.

This is the second Joie garlic chopper I have owned, the first was given to me almost 10 years ago by my sister and just recently broke but only because I dropped it and it must have hit at the perfectly wrong angle.Lots of time has been saved by this chopper as we eat tons of garlic in my household. Some has stated it is not easy to clean, however we always have just separated the two halves and placed in the dishwasher with no problems.

Definitely not the quality I was expecting from this brand. Does not chop the garlic like expected to get stuck no matter if it’s a little bit of garlic or a full thing of garlic hard to clean put back together.

This garlic chopper works fairly well but does NOT chop the garlic down to a reasonable size. Unless I'm making a stew or something, I need garlic that is chopped quite finely. The size of the chunks that remain after chopping with this thing are way too big to be very useful.After trying this chopped, and at least 3 others, I finally found one that is superior:[...]

This little gadget is easy to use, easy to clean, and because the blad is metal it’s sturdier than the chopper I had before that was all plastic. That said, i haven’t been able to really mince the garlic or chop it finely. It takes a lot of ‘turning’ to get the chopping done. Seems to work better when it’s full but not as well with one or two cloves of garlic.

This is our second one. The first lasted 3 years and was still sharp but the cover was getting discolored. This is a really great little kitchen tool. Best for about 6-8 cloves. Doesn't chop particularly finely. For the effort and the cleaning, I can simply use a knife and save the trouble.

This is the easiest and fastest hand held garlic chopper I’ve found. You control how fine you want the chop and suggest cloves be cut in half or quarter before placing in chopper. I have put 4 large cloves in and achieved a very good mince. Love that my hands are not sticky from trying to knife chop. Actually bought one for a friend who raves about it. Have not tried nuts or herbs. Washes clean in a flash

It minces garlic perfectly with almost no effort. Easy to clean and works every time. Better than any garlic press I have ever had.

Purtroppo ha funzionato solo 3 giorni, perché ho perso un pezzo.. e visto il prezzo conveniva ricomprarlo, ma non era robusto quindi ho optato per un altra tipologia.Ad ogni modo, se i materiali fossero più robusti sarebbe stato un perfetto trita aglio.

Lo he usado para picar ajo y si funciona!! Depende de la cantidad de giros que le des es el tamaño del picado ... Tmb lo utilice para picar cilantro y almendras....con el cilantro tmb funcionó super bien y con las almendras más o menos pero aceptable...

Hätte nicht gedacht, dass der kleine so toll ist. Wirklich zum empfehlen. Wenn es bei uns Raclette gibt ist der Kleine immer auf dem Tisch.
