Nicely balanced pen and point makes for a smooth line - much like a fountain pen but without the mess. Came beautifully packaged in its own box so would be excellent as a gift for graduates. I bought this (comes with black ink) because I could find Peacock Ink refills for it - a throw back from my school days I know. Great pen at the price whether you prefer black or peacock. Arrived super fast and carefully packed by Amazon. One great Plus is that I buy everything from Amazon these days under Amazon Smile and a portion of the cost is donated by Amazon to the charity of my choice - at present ASPCA. NOT QUITE AS ADVERTISED. Pen is perfect, came with two new matching refills (a real plus), but the refill that came in the pen is AN OLD BLACK INK refill, not the matching refill that is advertised. (Can tell it's OLD, because the clear gel at the back end of the refill is discolored, a sign of age.) Have done business with the vendor (GOLDSPOT) before, they are reputable, and I would do so again.

I've bought probably five or six of these over the years, for myself and as gifts. They feel good, write well, and just look nice. A little pricey, but a very satisfying rollerball.

Beautiful pen. Beautiful color.

The pen is substantial and attractive. The extra refills that come with it are turquoise, but the original refill inside the pen is black. When we called Goldspot customer service to ask why it didn't match the Amazon description, we were told "That's just the way it comes."

Feels great and writes beautifully!
