Not on par with other wearables on the market
I purchased this wearable on October 6, 2016 specifically for the body composition feature. As one of the few wearables that measure/track body composition, I made the decision to buy it and give it a go.I have been disappointed with the tracking features available through the app (unlike other fitness trackers, there is no associated website that stores one's overall statistics.) The app, during the time of my BAND usage and as of this review, does not auto sync with the BAND. Syncing requires manual intervention and, the longer one waits between syncs, the longer it takes for the BAND to sync its data. Go too long (I believe 7 days) and data gets lost due to limited storage capacity on the wearable itself.Measuring body composition, my reason for the purchase, is a bit tricky. It requires placing thumb and forefinger on the device contacts and awaiting the result. Far too often, the device would fail to measure, I presume due to poor contact reception. It is simply not as efficient nor simple in its measurement process to be beneficial in the long run.The last straw for me regarding this device is that, on December 20, 2016 the BAND strap broke at the connection between strap and device. It had not seen undue wear in the less than three months it had been owned. I would assess it as poor quality and/or design. I believe inBody has a ways to go before they become (if ever) a competitor in the wearable market. If you have read this far into the review, I would recommend a another wearable for activity tracking (eg Fitbit Surge Fitness Superwatch, Black, Large ) and a body composition scale for BF% measurement (eg Withings Body Cardio - Heart Health and Body Composition Wi-Fi Scale, Black .)Forego the inBody BAND--not worth it at all in my limited opinion.

This item is poorly made. It will slip off your wrist and you will never know it due to the fastner that are weak. MY BAND strap broke at the connection between strap and device. It had not seen undue wear in the less than three months it had been owned. I would assess it as poor quality and/or design. I believe inBody has a ways to go before they become (if ever) a competitor in the wearable market.I have owned this watch for less then a year and I noticed the defects. I am seeking a new watch or a refund.Forego the inBody BAND--not worth it .

disappointed
Not what I expected at all. To fully use the band you have to pay a subscription to an app. Also the band said I had 10 percent body fat and I'm 5'8" and 270 lbs there is no way that was accurate. I ended sending the band back and buying something else.

awesome LOOKS, NOT so awsome BAND
I bought this in Jan 2016. Didn't want to do review until I've worn it a few months. Verdict is in:1) Beautiful looks: I get compliments all the time. Wow, is that the new fitbit? That's a beautiful band, what is it?2) OK band: My band comes off about 4x a day now (June 2016) with just normal movement. It won't stay on like the first 2 months I had it. I guess it didn't help that I loosen my band at night time and tighten it during daytime - every day. The rubber seemed to have been stretched.3) Not accurate Body Fat Analysis: It's always about 3% lower than what my bodyfat scale says. I guess that's good if you want to show people your bodyfat percentage.4) Overall, I think Fitbit is still the best band out there, esp now since they've come out with a much more beautiful model (Fitbit Blaze)

Don't buy it.
This thing won't connect to the phone 75% of the time. You can update all your apps and MAYBE it will connect. I've contacted the company but they give a generic thank you message asking you to contact them via email, and then you get another generic message that leads you in circles. Also, this band gives incorrect information. For two nights I got what I thought was accurate information on my sleep, yet on the third day it said I didn't sleep at all overnight (?? I slept about 7 hours ??) and that I slept in the afternoon (and I rarely nap, and that day I was just on the computer at that time, wide awake). Again, a generic message from the company states that you need to contact them via email and then around in circles we go. This band is going back. Good luck with it.

LOST THE WATCH
I lost the watch. The band is tighten by tiny bolts through holes. Needed more security. Also the sleep data is not accurate. I placed the watch in my pocket all day and it says I slept during those hours but I was awake typing on the computer. Sometimes the sleep data won't record at all when you wear the watch during sleep. The syncing is slow if you have several days since your last sync and some days have no data at all even if you walked that day. Inaccuracies

Not your glorified pedometer. :)
Loving this band! It does more than your regular fitness band. Not a glorified pedometer... I wish it had accessories to change bracelet color, etc.Phone app could be better.
