This shade was a bit pricey, colors were not as vibrant as listed picture, and it's smaller than expected. I DO like that it spices up my very plain floor lamp though!

Cute lampshade. A little awkward to put together. No directions but pretty easy to figure out. The teal birds are in no way as vibrant as they look in the product picture. Not even with the light off. More of a muted, soft, light teal. But I'd buy another one if circumstances arose.

It’s easy to put together even without instructions. The shade is more a polished man-made material fused onto plastic - so def not linen. My biggest gripe is the color. I bought this shade SPECiFICALLY for the teal/turquoise color in it. The shade is tan, with white flowers and a gray/slate blue birds (and that color is def more gray than blue, as you can see in the photo. The colors are more muted too - not vivid, as the stock pic would lead you to believe. Mine was shipped in a barely sufficient styrofoam package but thankfully, the rolled shades weren’t damaged like I’ve seen others’ comments. Unfortunately, like most everything else I’ve ever bought from China, The photo and description are not true to the actual product. I will be returning. :(

Cheap. Falls off the ring that comes with it... Waste of money.

I’m glad I didn’t read the reviews before purchasing this lampshade. I would not have been deterred by the packaging, which if you have re-decorated a house you’ll know all lampshades basically come flat packed and you need to assemble. And I wouldn’t have been deterred by the color variations because with any fabric that’s inevitable. What would’ve really made me think twice is the complaints about the quality. I simply do not see how this could be considered low quality when a person factors in the price. If you comparison-shop for lampshades you know that this is in the low end range. I’m glad I didn’t read the reviews in advance, but I hope you read this one and it helps you decide what works best for you.

Just arrived today in a small squashed styrofoam, box that was falling apart. Do not waste your money on this. I should have read a little more carefully. I didn’t realize I would have to assemble. No directions included. Was so disappointed. Had rust stains around the edges.

This is just terrible. I bought a small lamp shade and a large lamp shade. 1) I didn't expect to have to put the fabric onto the rings; 2) there are no instructions; 3) the two sets of rings are the same size so the smaller fabric doesn't fit; 4) even the fabric for the larger one barely comes together and doesn't overlap enough to complete the shade. Even worse is that this is exactly the color and pattern that I wanted as accent decor for my bedroom. I've been waiting for weeks and this is a major disappointment.

Looks vibrant in the picture but in real life it looks like it’s been faded for 20 years.
