Thin material.

Outer cover skin is a nice rubbery material, inside kinda soft and fuzzy. Right off the bat the Plastic grommet used to secure the cover popped out and almost ripped all the way through. I will try to reinforce whats left of tie down area. No front or back direction so had to switch several times to see which way fit best. Overall not bad except for the ripping on tie down area.

Excellent cover - good quality, soft underside so it won't scratch the car, and weatherproof as well. Normally the car is stored indoors, but it's nice to know that it can be outdoors in inclement weather if necessary. Very happy with it and would purchase again.

Do Not buy this cover if the car will be outside or in any wet environment! It does not allow moisture to wick through it apparently at all, and it just ruined a beautiful original (factory) paint job on my Mercedes SLK convertible.About the first of May, I polished and waxed it, which I do twice a year. I had ordered this new cover and as my old one was starting to rip a little..The car only has 68,000 miles on it and it was a real looker until I used this cover. Water is a natural solvent so when a cover does not allow it to evaporate it will eat through the paint. This cover even holds puddles in low areas like the base of the windshield behind the wipers for days after rain, when an all-weather cover would not seal it and allow it to drain.I now know too late that it should never be used outside around here (OHIO) because it will not allow moisture to escape!There is almost no damage on the sides as gravity would drain it down, but now the top, hood and deck lid all need to be repainted. I did try my buffer with a cutting compound this morning to see if that helps, to no avail.You can even see the pattern the top left on the door frame picture.

The medium size does not adequately cover a subcompact car. This is supposedly for cars up to 168in. My car is well under that, but it cannot cover the entire frame at one time, and therefore is prone to fall off in even light breezes.

I like it because it protected my car as it says in the description.

Better than advertised!
