It works, but the smell is very strong
I love the smell of coffee, but this is a step too far. As soon as you open it, you see what appears to be a solid brick of dried leftover coffee grounds and that smell hits you from a yard away. The instructions imply that you can just grab a little chunk and mix it with some water in your hand to make a "paste" to apply to your face and neck. What is in that jar cannot become a paste, the pieces are way too big and the only moisture comes from the water you add. Essentially, it feels like if you crushed a bunch of dried leaves in your hand and added some water. You end up with these large pieces of whatever it is all over you face and it smells like you just opened up the break room coffee machine and rubbed this morning's grounds all about. It's a good exfoliant and my skin is softer, but the whole time I'm taking a shower, brown liquid is running down my arms carrying little bits of coffee that I then end up rubbing all over, so I come out of the shower smelling like the boldest cup of coffee imaginable. There are limits to how much people like the coffee scent and this one gets dangerously close to being obscenely strong and if you are in a place that still requires face masks (as I am) that scent is with you all day. It's a trade off, smoother skin at the cost of smelling like you bathe in coffee.

It's ok
I have mixed emotions about this face scrub. It does smell like coffee which is something that I like. The scrub is a little rough but I just go in with gentle moving motions to scrub my face. It really removes the dead skin very well. The only thing is that you have to add water to activate it. But don't add too much otherwise it disintegrates. It's hard to keep scrub in the palm of your hand if it's too wet so it doesn't stick to your face very well. It has to become like a paste consistency for it to stick onto your face. But other than that it works well. I like to scrub my neck and chest area with this too. I just prefer something ready to use. I just find that I lose a lot of product when I try to add water and it gets very messy in my tub. But it's easy to rinse out. But I wouldn't get it again.

Not ready for immediate use
Love the smell of coffee because it is a great wake up punch in the morning. However it is for the face and neck and not for drinking so I have to settle for just the smell. This has big granules meant for exfoliation but the mail problem is that it is not ready for immediate use. You have to figure out the amount of water so it is not disintegrating or liquefying to be able to rub effectively onto your skin. If it is too watery, it will not stick to your skin and will just drip off so makes it ineffective for what it is intended for. However, if you get the right consistency, it is actually very effective as it keeps the skin clean and seems moisturizes well.I am honestly on the fence as to whether recommend it or not. It has great potential as a “staple” for a facial routine but I don’t recommend more than twice a week use.

This is very interesting, and smells wonderful! The ingredents are everything. This is refreshing.
But I do love this scrub for its properties, and I smell ginger and coffee. Only complaint is that I can't seem to scoop a coin-sized bit of product to make a paste. I get granules all over the place too.I am using a face cloth and water, or my usual toner afterword. Then of course moisturizer twice or three times. I can also use baby oil to remove it. Then I have replaced the moisture after using this scrub. I will not need much of this so it is best that I use a cosmetics spatula, and mix it with warm water in a cosmetics blender tray. This jar will last me a year or so. The blender palette is very inexpensive here. I also make my own cosmetics from creams, moisturizer li quids and foundations. Sometimes with the pearly highlighter.s Easy to use.Great value! Love this experience on my face.Enjoy!
