Quick Hood Loops Trunk Anchor Kayak Tie Downs Straps Bow Stern Canoe Transport Secure Lashing Point 2 Pairs

We have a new Subaru Cross Trek and used the hood anchors as tie downs for our kayaks. They rubber anchors lodged perfectly and securely under the hood and we secured our bow lines through soft nylon loops. We travel over 250 miles over highway and country roads. The loop anchors worked perfectly, looked brand new after the trip and left no marks on our new cars hood. Highly recommend.

I didn’t know about using these. I realized my van didn’t have any secure place to attach bow and stern lines. I thought these would be worth a try. The price was good and I questioned if they would be durable enough. My van has a short hood so worried they would slip out. They were perfect. First use carried recreational kayaks over 300 miles in the wind! These thing held tight. They didn’t slip at all. Very easy to use! Glad I gave them a chance. Solved the serious problem of my plastic van having no good place to attach lines.

simple solution to an annoying design flaw on my small SUV ("flaw" meaning that a small SUV with zero attachment hardware in the front, coupled with flimsy plastic grill materials in the front that you cannot tie anything to... and I have an Audi, not a cheap car). I have a roof-rack and carry a kayak and other things on occasion and had no means to secure it forward. Or aft for that matter. Anyway, these are inexpensive, arrived quickly, and take care of that problem.

Will easily get my money’s worth out of these. Exactly what I was looking for and great quality. Comfortable!

These hood loops are exactly what we needed to help tie down our kayaks to our roof rack. The quality is excellent, and they're so easy to use. These were also a fraction of the price of other brands. Another nice thing is that they will fit any vehicle. You just open the hood (and/or your trunk, as needed), place these near the cab of the vehicle with the nylon loop sticking out, and close the hood. Presto! You now have a place to secure your tie down strap or rope to your vehicle. We only needed 2 since we already had a way to secure the tie down straps to the back of our vehicle, but's it's really nice to get 4 in the order in case we need to lend a couple to a friend, etc. The loops seem to be very strong. It's great to feel confident that our kayaks are safely secured to our vehicle. I fully expect we will get years of service from these helpful hood loops.

I have a rather heavy sit-on-top fishing kayak. I strapped it to our roof rack, anchored by these loops (two in the hood and two in the tailgate), and drove up to 78 mph. So far, so good! They've held up real well, keeping my kayak in place. I use ratchet straps and crank them pretty tight, but the loops take the pressure.

Fit and works perfect

It's working very well and easy to use. But I see that the rubber would not be durable with the pressure of the cable attached to my kayak.
