Works exactly as expected out of the box
I just plugged HDMI from my camcorder into one side and then popped it into a spare USB port on my laptop.Absolutely no fuss or configuration, Camera in windows 10 saw it as a webcam device and allowed me to select it. Video and audio were recorded from the camera exactly as I had wanted.I'm amazed this works so well for such a cheap device.As advertised the max resolution was 1920:1080 at 30fps which is fine because my camera is only HD, if you need 4k then this is not for you but I did not. I will be live streaming church services using this and my Sony camcorder so this is absolutely perfect. So good in fact that I will be getting a spare for my camera bag.

This is what? A tenth of other product's price? A twentieth?And it works.Solid metal construction, I've opted to use a USB extension lead so this device (which is quite heavy) isn't hanging out the back of the PC.No additional drivers necessary on Windows 10 / latest MacOS. 1080i feed from my DSLR camera (clean output), no problem. Tried a PS3 as well, worked flawlessly.Doesn't get hot either.I'm just blown away. So blown away, I bought two. Just because they're so darn cheap.Absolutely incredible.FYI - works with OBS Studio flawlessly, have been using it to livestream church services during COVID lockdown.
