When my hubby is reminiscing and looking for a specific movie I just hop on Amazon and not only find it but get it for a great price.

This movie is very underrated. It's very to the point yet doesn't leave you lost. It's akin to Terminator and Rambo however it wasn't a direct clone. There was a lot of action, down to earth moments and a sense of accomplishment as you watch Solo save the people so they could return to their peace lives. It was worth the purchase and thankful after a long time of searching I could find and watch it here on Amazon.

Item arrived in good condition

The DVD was in good condition. It came within the delivery window. I am thankful and the movie was interesting to me.

This movie is really good considering the time it was made. I am shocked when I try telling people about it and they haven't see it.

Good movie

Really is a good movie. I had been trying to find this movie, but did not know the title and who was in it. I am glad to have this in my collection. I finally saw it on one of the movie channels a couple of weeks ago, that is I found out the title. Thanks

Always a fun little movie night with friends. Good ensemble cast, cool action sceans. So enjoy this Action Sci-Fi movie

enfin un film de guerre qui ne traite pas de la guerre et oui solo (mario van peebles) et une machine de guerre comme terminator mais voila il a un petit quelque chose que le terminator n'a pas ( une ame humain ) du moins artificiel, une vrai émossion pour ce film qui traite du fait que la machine a plus de coeur que les homme.

Solo is the type of film I could watch over and over again. Basically a mechanical soldier programmed to have no feelings develops a heart and teaches native people how to fight.Unfortunately, his creators aren't too pleased, and neither are the natives' bosses.It starts with an ace battle, then contains several more until a thrilling, fast-paced battle at the end.Solo also develops a special friendship with not only the natives as a whole, but also with a small native boy who is the first to find him.So basically, if you want Saving Private Ryan with a bigger heart and bigger meaning, then this is the film for you. Rent it first, to see if you like it, then if you feel the need (like I did) then buy it. I am not forcing you to buy it, but if you do, you will have an undisputed masterpiece in your collection forever.Also, a very special note to Mario van Peebles, who gave it his all as Solo and really looked the part.Caution: When you watch this for the first time, you might need a box of tissues with you.

SOLO is a very underrated movie in my opinion. It has a good story with lots of action and the hero is a convincing character. Most people give The Predator all the credit which I can agree with as its a great movie but most give SOLO a hard time and leave it at the bottom of the barrel which I think is not fair considering the amount of money spent on The Predator compared to SOLO. They done a good job with SOLO with a bit of comedy and human compassion. I really enjoyed it and Mario Van Peebles did a good job. Anyone that does not agree I can understand but before reacting against SOLO think of it as a action entertainment and not all has to be big shot movies. Its OK for SOLO to be different and anyone must give it a chance and watch it.
