4.5-inch Buttercomb (All Coarse) #014

This comb goes through my long haired cat's thick fur very easily. It loosens and removes lightly tangled fur and helps keep mats away. The comb is sturdy, strong and well made. It is small, but easy to hold and use. There is a snap-on handle for this comb that is sold separately. I use this comb on my cat's body and tail. For his head and neck area, I use a fine tooth comb. I have a collection of different pet combs, but this comb is one of my favorites.

I also have the Chris Christensen 000 Fine/Coarse Buttercomb. I use this one post bath , during little trims for my coton de tulear. shorter length makes it easier for me to fluff up his leg hair to trim. love this product. Seems a bit pricey at first but all of my Chris Christensen brushes and combs really do work the best. It was worth it for me. I am a pet owner, not a groomer. I saw this brush being used in a grooming video.

This comb is very nice quality. It's finished perfectly and it's smooth and sturdy.I'm giving it 4 stars because this particular length is uncomfortable for me to hold.

I have 3 Persian cats who's matted fur is a daily chore. This comb is one of many I use. I probably like this one the most.

Love this comb. I know the importance in good tools. I was a hairdresser far 50 yrs. I about died when I saw the price the most expensive come was 15. Dollars and it was made out of plan. Oh well what we do far our Persians fur baby's. Aim about to order your poodle comb. Do they ever go on sale. I know that is a joke. Ha ha

This comb works great for working through my Standard Poodle Puppy’s coat! It’s very thick and easily mats. Well worth the cost! Also, check out the wooden handle made for the comb. It’s a great addition to the comb! So glad I purchased both!
