Simply the Best
After reading lots of reviews here on Amazon I have to admit I was skeptical but went ahead and purchased anyway. The chair is undoubtably the best I have ever owned. The only nitpick, as others have expressed, is the lack of a cup holder, other than that, it's perfect.Lots of negative reviews I read concerned the lack of a true locking mechanism for holding the chair in a certain position. It does not, have that ratchet mechanism that in my opinion is a pain to use, instead it has a mechanism to increase or decrease the friction on the slide bar. I have not yet found it necessary to use it as the chair is so well engineered that it holds me in any recline position. I'm 5'10" and weigh 165 lbs. and it works perfectly for me but I can't say for sure it would preform the same for all shapes and sizes. A friend of mine (5' 11" 230lbs} tried it out briefly and I didn't see any indication of him struggling to hold it in position. It's very comfortable and I would say that anyone who has back issues (like me} would find this chair a welcome addition. The only other complaint I have is that when my wife sat in the chair she didn't want to get out of it. So it ended up costing me another $259 to get one for her! But hey, it's cheaper than a divorce, right?Buy the chair, you won't be sorry.

Fabulous recliner and fast delivery by seller
We love our 2 new Lafuma recliners - they're so comfortable and sturdy. (We've had Lafuma before and their quality is still top notch). As soon as we placed our order, the seller (Spreetail) sent us an email with tracking numbers, explaining that the 2 boxes would be shipped at the same time but in separate boxes, each with their own tracking number. The chairs arrived the next day - the first day possible in the promised delivery window. The chairs were in perfect condition in their original Lafuma boxes. We had been concerned about ordering a product neither sold nor shipped by Amazon, but we would definitely use Spreetail again after this great experience. Thanks again.

Very well made!
Liked the chair’s stability even when fully reclined! Move’s easily through different positions! Braking system is just a little helpful but not too firm—by factory design. It’s comfortable for an outside chair but would be curious if using memory foam would make it better! After 2 weeks of daily use for prolonged periods I would definitely buy again!

These are a luxury version of the Zero Gravity Chair
This would have a five star review except that even in the large size they are a little small for a six footer. On the other hand, the materials and construction are heads and shoulders above the basic versions of these chairs. With the addition of a small pad, they truly become stressless and work for both my 5'4" wife and 6' me. They are quite sturdy and never feel flimsy. I got these for half of retail. I would not advise paying full price for these but would buy one of the cheaper disposable brands. I do not keep these outside as I transport them on an RV. As they have plastic joints, I would not recommend leaving them on a deck.

Solid, comfortable and well made but has a few issues
The good: this chair is solid and clearly very well-made. It glides smoothly and feels like it will hold up for a long time. It looks great, too! The pillow slides up and down so you can use it for head or lumbar support. The not so good: I’m 5’11 and my husband is 6’1, and this chair is too short for us. Our feet have to rest on or over the bar at the bottom, which is uncomfortable unless you’re wearing shoes (and who wants to wear shoes in an anti gravity chair in their backyard?). However, you can just put a pillow down there and it’s fine. Also, I have sciatica due to herniated lumbar discs, so was super excited to read other back pain sufferers’ reviews saying this was comfortable for them. Unfortunately for me, it doesn’t recline enough to take the pressure off my back. We have a La-Z-Boy recliner inside that reclines really far back and completely relieves the pressure for me, but this needs another 10-20 degrees to get there. I wish it was adjustable to go further back!!
