I've had this air conditioner for a couple of months and we've had no issues with it! The app is great and there's even a functionality to make it turn on/off at certain times every day. It gets our living room very cool and our NYC electric bill has been lower since we're not using the built in air conditioners anymore. It's also not super loud.

Installed 4 months ago, so time will tell in terms of lifespan, but the performance on this ac is great. I use it as the sole ac to cool about 750-800 sq feet and it does that easily, and could definitely handle more sq ft if needed. It’s in the normal noise range for me. Not loud not quiet. If it breaks down quickly might be a bummer, but so far would def recommend buying this over more expensive ones all things considered. One other specific thing is it is the smallest ac i could find for the btu power which is why i bought it. The window it needed to go in is very small, and this was the only one in the btu range i could find that would fit. If yiu have a small window definitely consider this ac.

The fan in this unit is incredible. With line of sight to another room 15 feet away, you can expect a cool draft. Cooling works great, but I do have two qualms. Occasionally the unit will shut off when it reaches a desired temperature when we’d rather the fan stay on. I believe this is unintended as messing around with modes will fix it. The other issue is that the remote can’t actually change modes other than “Auto” and “Fan Only”, which is exacerbated by trying to solve the first problem (there are three modes: fan, cool, and dry). I still think it’s great product and would buy it again.

Just at the start of the cooling season my well used window air conditioner in my shop stopped "cooling" - discharge air temp was about 55 degrees - ugh! Needed to get a new unit so used the convenient comparison shopping via Amazon to help find what I wanted. Selected this unit based on 1) size (small windows in shop), 2) largest cooling capacity for the size, and 3) lowest price. That criteria led me to this unit and after a summertime of use here in the South I am well satisfied. I bought the 10K BTU unit as it has the most capacity that would fit in my space. The specs rate this at 450 sq. ft. and my shop is close to 600 sq. ft. so it's a bit underpowered but did the job to my satisfaction keeping the temps in the 75-77 deg set point. I like the way it operates in that I just leave it on all the time at the set temp and forget it. It only runs when the temp excides the set point, the rest of the time it is off and draws no power for the fan (this is different from my last unit). It does however run a "sampling" cycle every 10-15 minutes that runs for less than 10 seconds to test the ambient air temp in the space. Unit is quiet for the amount of air that the fan moves (quite a lot), compressor noise is minimal, and the remote control is convenient to use. Never used the WI-FI function but it is provided. Well pleased with this unit after its first summer "workout" NOTE: I wanted a cover for the unit when the cooling season is over and selected the vendor "i frmmy" from Amazon since they advertised a size of 18 x 13 x 12 which is as close as I could find from the listed choices. This unit measures just under 18.5 in wide so I hoped it would fit - all other choices only said 17 in wide. It's snug but does go over and cover the unit as desired.

This air conditioner works great. The delivery guy was great. No problems at all and my son said it cools off the whole place he was impressed that it has a hand control

I bought the 10,000btu unit in May '22 and ran it for June, July, and August in auto at 62° (seemed to never shut off at 61°) it ran really really well and chilled my small apartment including the downstairs to a very comfortable temperature. Unfortunately this summer after reinstall, the unit seems to have a defect that caused it to fail with a combined total of just under 4 months of run time. I reached out to customer service, and while they did inform me that the warranty had gone out and recommended a loval HVAC for repair, they ALSO went out of their way and sent a brand new 8000btu unit that i believe more than compensates for the short run time on the malfunctioning unit. I recommend Rovsun for your cooling needs - they're pretty chill!
