I purchased mine on December 31st and the stitching tore all across the bottom of the bag and today is March 31st. So lucky I didn't lose anything!

The dimensions say 19 x 11 x 10. Is this true, or is the bag smaller?

It sounds about right. It’s a good size bag and my daughter loves it. She uses it for her volleyball, gear and sneakers. She could put much, much more in the though.

Does it fit nicely under an airplane seat?

Not sure. For big planes it could fit, but small internal flights I do not think so. It’s risky though. I would not recommend for an under seat.
