Bought it one year ago, and never thought of writing a review.I left it to a friend of mine upon moving, kind of as a gift (it's used...), and now when I am looking for a new one, this is when I realized how good it is. Just to sum it's merit as compared to other products I am looking at now:1. The stopper have the indicator, telling you when you can stop pumping and when you really need to finish the bottle;2. I never feel that I need to pump 60 times for a half done bottle;3. Looks really high end.And now when I see it retails for 25 bucks and is out of stock, just so regret I didn't bring it with me....Highly recommended (although I might not buy it at $25 considering some 6 bucks products available...).

It looks like a cheap construction. It works, but for $18, I would expect better look and not cheap plastic look. The silver rim is actually painted plastic and it like painted plastic.

I returned mine for a refund. It didn't work. I saw it on Shark Tank and thought it a good one. By design there was no way a tight seal could be made between the pump and the bottle. None the less I still tried to pump and pump but no vacuum happened great enough to raise the red indicator. I tried and tried. It wasn't worth giving myself a heart attack in the pumping so I finally gave up. Very disappointed.

Very good product. Indicates when this wine spoiled. Maintains a good vacuum pressure maintained in the wine quality longer. Better than competitors.

I've had the Winedoctor for several months now, and while it works fabulously on some bottles, on others it fails completely. When the Winedoctor works, it works really well. There is a very discernible difference between a bottle that has been "doctored" and one that hasn't. That said, I find that on most of the bottles I've purchased, the Winedoctor fails to create a good enough seal to keep the air out. In order to keep the air out of a lot of bottles, it seems like I would have to pump the bottle every few hours. That's obviously not feasible. Perhaps my product is defective seeing as how many glowing reviews are present here.Like I said, when the product works, it keeps the wine fresh for days. Unfortunately, it doesn't work often enough for me to recommend it to others.

I thought I'd never need a wine stopper because once the bottle is open it's gone! This is a great product that keeps the wine fresh for days! The easy read red stripe let's you know if you've sealed it correctly. Easy to use and it works great. Also sleek and nice looking.

This is a very easy to use way to open a bottle and have a glass without having to finish the bottle or waste it. The box it comes in is well designed to be used as a way to store between uses attractively. I leave it open with the bottom box leaning inside the top of the box on my bar area and reseal anything I think I might not finish immediately. Delighted with the product and the packaging

Title says it all. I like the design. Comes in a box that you can store the pump in. I really like the suction indicator. Not necessary, but cool to have. This device was to replace previous wine stoppers that were very similar (though not the same brand) to the vacu vin rubber stoppers. I found on the ones I had that the suction of the rubber stopper was very strong. So much so that I could have a hard time prying off the stopper and could clearly hear air rushing in when the stopper was taken off. However with the winedoctor I have no such strong suction. In fact one of the stoppers seems defective as the indicator turns red within 24 hours. The other stopper works, but the suction just isn't very strong when I pry it off. Makes me think not all the air was removed. I will try this for a few more bottles of wine but I am thinking I may just have to get something like the vacu vin stoppers ... in the end it's the suction that counts. Not sure why I am the only one with this disappointment as the reviews here are all very positive.
