Maggie Stiefvater is a genius!
The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater[The Raven Boys▪️The Dream Thieves▪️Blue Lily Lily Blue ▪️The Raven King]Depending on where you began the story, it was about friends finding a Welsh king for a favor, a magical forest, a corpse road, a family of psychics, dreams and nightmares, love and a fatal kiss, a tree soul and the Aglionby boys. This is the story of Henrietta, Virginia.I've been stalling and stalling to post anything about the raven cycle. It's been more than a week since I finished this series and I've got two words for you, READ IT! It's definitely not the perfect one, but it is Maggie Stiefvater and that's why you should read it. If you are not familiar with her writing style, you are definitely in for a treat. The satisfaction that you will feel as a reader, her writing is golden! There's tons and tons of foreshadowing and not a single dull moment, and if you are not paying attention, it's likely you will miss something significant. I don't know how to explain this, but her writing feels so tangible, like you are right there. I feel like I'm babbling, so I'll keep it simple. Maggie Stiefvater is a wizard who has spun one of the most magical stories, with most precious characters in the most precious settings.5🌟 and will highly recommend it!

One line summary of my feelings - The head is too wise. The heart is all fire. :)
Completely Non-Spoiler Series + Book Review -I don’t want to draw parallels or compare this book to Harry Potter and other such iconic book series’, because I feel that such comparisons set up a book/series for failure. And I don’t want to do that to this series I love so much. But the one thing I can say is that - Maggie Stiefvater is a very skilled storyteller, and has the ability to create a profound depth of feeling for her characters. I loved/cared about all these characters just as much as I loved/cared about Harry, Ron and Hermoine. And I am not the overly sentimental type, so that is saying a lot.I adored Gansey (but who wouldn’t?) - he was everything good and right about this world wrapped in one self-assured, yet slightly ambivalent package. And I loved Blue - smart, sensible, quirky, ever curious, Blue.I had a love/hate relationship with Adam - poor, broken, stupid, proud, Adam. And then there was Ronan - This guy! I don’t even know what to say about him! He is repulsive, yet wonderful, obnoxious, yet adorable. Yeah, that kind of sums it up.I was totally invested in how things turned out for all of them - not just the protagonists, but also the side characters, and even (inexplicably) the “villains”. I am rarely conflicted about how I feel about the antagonists, and this series has made me second guess my feelings about them many many times. It has also completely changed my mind about character-driven stories. I thought I did not enjoy character driven tales, but I think I just had not met the right characters. Or well written ones. Or lovable ones.Read the full review at - SHANAYA TALES DOT COM.

the book itself was amazing. i love the raven cycle and the breathtaking conclusion to the series was just perfect, though the delivery was sort of slow — but i believe it was due to the high demand of the christmas–new year period i ordered.

Simply Amazing
After having read these books over 5 times in Spanish, I wanted to get the original version, because Maggie's writing is too special and delicate to be properly translated without losing some of the charm. Best decision in a long time. The dust jackets aren't glossy, which is always a good thing (fingerprints all over aren't very nice), and the book itself is even better than I thought it to be in Spanish. Very good finale to the TRC tetralogy.

I love it so much and I will miss this series just as much!
The Raven King was an excellent ending to the Raven Cycle quartet. I cannot tell you how much I loved the Raven King, it was wonderful, magical, full of horror, mystery, friendship and adventure.I have been deeply engrossed with the Raven Cycle for years now and I have been waiting for a couple of years for the Raven King to be released in paperback (ugh I really do hate Scholastic-US paperback bindings) and when it finally was I swooped in and snatched it up.So the book starts of with a story and it continues telling the smaller part of the story of all of the different characters who are apart of the larger story. I got to see things from even more point of views and more revelations was revealed. Gansey is looking for a king, Blue is worried about true love, Ronan is trying to figure out his adult life as a Greywaren and Adam is trying to figure out how to be human and a magician. Plus there is an unexpected character that becomes an important part to the story that I couldn't help but love. The end of the quest is coming closer and things are getting dangerous, old faces make an appearance and something dark is lurking in the shadows. The story is coming full circle and not everyone is going to make it, lets hope magic is enough.Maggie is a miracle worker and I am so grateful for this series. The Raven Cycle was something so magical and meaningful that it seems almost reverent. The story was unlike anything I have ever read. The characters are so full of life they come off the page and the complex relationships can't help but remind you of yours. Maggie managed to blend unexpected magic into everyday life and that the quest to revive a lost king seem absolutely normal and totally adventurous at the same time. She has such a way with words in this series, there is something about her writing that sets her apart from everyone else, it was done so well that I was sadden that I could join these miraculous people on their adventure and be a part of their friendship. The Raven King was so fantastic, it was dark and I forgot what a horror-show it could be sometimes, I loved it so much. It was full of magic and wonder, of new friendships and problems that need to be solved. I can't really describe how much I loved this book and all of the feelings that this book made me feel. I love the characters so much and it was such a unique story that I know it's going to stick with me for a long while. I will miss these characters so much and not just the gang but the occupants of 300 Fox Way, Mr. Gray and others. The only solace I have it that Maggie has planned a spin-off series for Ronan Lynch and while I will miss the others I can't wait for this book because Ronan is quite the character and I can't wait to see what the Greywaren does next.

I am so bummed that the series is overm what an emotional roller-coaster. I can't get enough of Blue, Ronan, Adam and Gansey. I want more, no need more. This is my new favourite book series.
