Great Product
I have been using this product on my cedar fence and deck posts for the past 10 years. Great product that holds up and looks great even after pressure washing in the spring. Goes on easy and looks like a natural wood product afterwards.

Good product but poor packaging
The deck stain works very well and is exactly as advertised. Nice color, and waterproof qualities.Unfortunately, Amazon does not put much thought into the way they ship paint. As you can see in my pictures, they stuck the paint can in a cardboard box with one or two air cushions. Well, the air cushions easily popped in transit, and the paint leaked all over our front step (see picture). Luckily I noticed the package after about 45 minutes. It still left a stain and I needed to rent a pressure washer to get the color out.Amazon's response? They gave me a $20 promotional gift card and said to take my complaint to USPS. I'm sorry but this was not the shipper's fault, it was amazon's fault for packaging it poorly. I had to pay out of pocked for all the cleanup supplies and power washer rental.So overall, good product (what was left of it), but there's a chance you could have to deal with a messy cleanup because of poor packaging.

Cabot stain is the best, but boy, the way it was shipped is courting disaster
Cabot Stain is no longer carried by Home Depot so I had to turn to the big A for the stuff when it came time to stain my deck this year. I got the same great stuff as always but the gallon can was just put into a lightweight, way too large box with some crumpled paper for packing. Imagine the mess if and when the can broke open in transit! Luckily all it got was a big gash on the bottom but boy it could have been a mess. Sure glad in this day of minimizing, Cabot still seals their cans properly!

I like the product. I ordered 6 gallon. I dislike the shipper USPS. Some never made it to me. one damaged and leaking on my deck. Still waiting refund
