Yes, my last 6 jars were 4.8 oz each. I was happy with the shipment. I have used this creme for years and love it.

Q: Does it help to lessen the appearance of scars?

I think that is an old wife's tale. Never seen it help any of mine

Q: Does this product contain alcohol and is it safe to put in your nose for dry skin?

It is only for external use and it does contain stearyl alcohol ( it is very safe for skin and hair and can be used on the face). It is probably okay to put a little on the inside of your nose if it is raw and sore (e.g., allergy draining) but I would use it mostly on the outside of the nose.

Q: does this have a perfumy smell?

I'm sensitive to smells and this has a prominent cocoa butter scent. No "perfumy" smell in my opinion.
