Movement.
The lure hardly moves in the water as you retrieve it. The tail has minimal movement. It does cast pretty well. The best way you work it would be to reel and let sink with small jerks to mimic a dying minnow.

Chemical smell
These looked awesome until I opened the package. The odor is close to a brand new rubber door mat dipped in cyanide and itโs strong. I tried soaking in baking soda, water, and dishwashing liquid. Nothing. I left it out in the sun. Nothing. Iโm going to try vinegar and/or lemon and salt next. I donโt plan on fishing with these if the smell doesnโt go away. Either way, it wasnโt worth the time, money and effort when there are so many other products out there.

Chubs Anyone!
These shad minnows look so realistic, I can't wait for our bass season to open. I love that the jig head is hidden inside the bait, which eliminates choosing between various sized jig heads and colors, although you can opt to use an additional jig head if so desired. These will also be great for trolling for walleye. Their movement is very realistic in the water. I'll be purchasing more, because what kind of sports angler doesn't have at least 2 dozen minnow in their bucket? :-)
