Strings, Breaks, and Cuts
I got this as the first PLA roll after the sample one that came with the 3D printer. It was impossible to complete a print with it. The problem was that:1- It strings too much when you print (vs the sample that I used before)2- It is too fragile. It breaks very easily.3- It stops going through half way through a print. I tried to redo multiple times and change settings (temperature, speed) and it didn't help. I have replaced it now with a different color PLA) and am still getting strings coming through prints.Very frustrating. I learned to spend a bit more for a good quality filament instead of wasting the money and time I spent on this one.

good but not great
over all the product was okay, had a few problems printing with it at first, the prints came out vey brittle and broke off easily, at lower temp (around 198c) would reccomend slower printing speeds and higher tempratures (207c) to get a better finish.

Good quality DRY filament
First silk pla I've used on my anycubic chiron and as it's my first i have nothing to compare with to be honest, But what's there to compare to the quality of the print was second to none with very little stringing and a few marks on the print but that is purely down to the settings which need a slight tweek as the parts wear over time, As for breaks and snapping mid print absolutely a big fat zero on that one not had any of that stress and as some of my prints have been over 40 hours there is nothing more disheartening than when the filament snaps after the bloody break sensor and you check the printer the next morning and it's printing nothing above the print ad it hasn't registered the breakThe filament was as dry as you'll ever get it out the box with it vac sealed tightly and not leaking when sealed like some have that I've recieved and also came with the obligatory silica gel bag to keep the filament as dry as you'll ever get it from the factoryAs for other brands of silk pla I've had such good success with this one there is no need to find another brand, Don't fix it if it ain't broke as the saying goes, As long as they supply the filament at this quality and can consistently supply it at this quality, I'll be more than happy to stick with theseAnd that shine off the print in different light angles!!!! ππ

Spool an absolute mess
I received this item today and fed it directly into the extruder, 20 mins into print it was tangled, so I started again 45 mins later it was tangled on the spool yet again this happened a third time, at which point I was extremely frustrated, I would rather spend a few extra quid for a neat spool with no overlapping pla material, than one that is extremely poorly wound, first impressions (not a happy customer)I hope overs do not have the same experience I had!

Warps and falls off build plate until.....
Bronze colour looks nice, but it is impossible to print without warping and coming off the build plate. It doesn't happen immediately, but 4 - 5 hours into the print. Very frustrating and a waste of plastic. I'll stick with my usual brand.Edit. Had to use blue painters tape to get it to stick. Also upped the nozzle temp to 210C and plate temp to 65C. Fan to 85%

What is this stuff?!
It seems that it can print OK with sufficient cooling, provided there are no narrower parts where the previous layers are still partially melted. In some instances it seems to expand like some of the βfoamingβ filaments you can get these days.. not sure what that is all about?! The attached image shows a part which I attempted to print on a Sidewinder X1, at 185 degrees centigrade, using an E3D Hermera extruder, and a 0.6mm nozzle. This setup prints perfectly with anything I throw at it (e.g. PLA, PETG, TPU, Nylon) but this stuff is just awful!

Mediocre PLA
I was on the hunt for some inexpensive silk PLA and came across this brand. I got a roll of Silk Black and Silk Red. It's taken A LOT of dialling in to get this printing to an semi-acceptable level (with the black, the red is way too brittle). My printer normally requires little to no adjustment when changing PLA types. Also to note, be adhesion is amazing. Too amazing on bare glass, even with the bed heat off. I ended up having to ramp up the bed temp and use IPA to release the prints. Which ruined them! Have resorted to painters tape on glass, which allows me to release the print. Finally, the colour shown in the listing looks to be almost a black chrome. It's much darker in reality. Neither colour is as silky as shown in the photos.I wouldn't buy this brand again but, your mileage may vary.
