WHY BAMBOO? RENEWABLE- Unlike regular wood which can take up to 50 years to grow, bamboo grows in lesser time and can be harvested between three and six years after planting. This makes the material very good for the environment. DURABLE- Bamboo cutting boards are lightweight, but they are actually harder than most wood. This makes it the perfect material for a cutting surface. When cutting with bamboo, is more resilient to scratches, nicks and better than wood cutting boards. WATER RESISTANT- Bamboo cutting boards do not absorb water easily. Because of this, the board is less likely to crack or warp due to moisture separation. HEALTHY- Bamboo has a natural ability to resist bacteria. This makes it healthier than plastic boards because plastic is easily damaged giving room for microbes to grow, which will affect your food when cutting. EASY TO MAINTAIN- Resist moisture and does not absorbs stains or odors from your foods, unlike most cutting boards do. Just a simple wash and monthly treatment with oil will help preserve the beauty of your bamboo for many years to come.WHY CAZZOVA?PERFECT RULER DESIGN- You can make flawless presentations thanks to the ruler. DRIP GROOVE- Prevent messy cleanups, while antimicrobial slip-resistant surfaces prevent the build-up of bacteria and odors. EXTRA LARGE SIZE and SIDE HANDLES - Conveniently built in side handles provide easy carrying, which allow the use of chopping board as a serving tray. ELEGANT REVERSIBLE DESIGN - You can use both sides of the cutting board. COSTUMER SATISFACTION- Our philosophy is simple. IF you are not happy, we are not happy.

Decent quality, don't forget to "season" before using!
I just received mine so haven't used it. Be mindful when ordering any wood cutting board, they must be "seasoned" when you get it, otherwise the wood will soak up moisture. Easy method to season these is to use FOOD GRADE mineral oil. Search for how to care for wood cutting board. It is light, large enough for a good countertop cutting board, but small enough for easy clean up in the sink. The ruler is a nice feature. I will use to measure off vacuum sealer bags off the roll for a consistent size when freezing food.

Cracked before I used it even once.
Got this in late January. Unboxed it and put it away. Got it out to use yesterday--several long cracks on both sides! What the heck? Our kitchen is not damp, or overly hot (it was not stored near stove). So how did this happen? Has anyone else had this thing crack? This was to replace a wooden one that developed a crack AFTER 40 YEARS OF USE. This one didn't even get used once!

Great as a cutting board but it started delaminating
I bought this to use as a cutting board, mostly for meat since it has a juice channel on one side, and it works well for that. It looks nice and appears to be well-made, but I am finding that, despite it never being soaked in water or cleaned in a dishwasher (I only ever wash it by hand in the sink with the water running) I find that it is delaminating. The layers are starting to come apart, bit by bit. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts and whether the delaminated bits stay as they are and don't progress. It's a shame as I like it otherwise.

Nice but lots of cracks
I read the reviews before I purchased so I knew I needed to oil it as soon as I got it. I did, several applications, and then started to use it....it cracked anyway. Still using it but it's too bad it's cracked.

Warps easily
I have used this board for about a week. Already warped!!! Cooked for 60 years. Never experienced this low level of quality.
