Q: Just ordered this. Wondering if it looks ok if you put in on top of the puzzle? Otherwise any tips for flipping it?

If you mean putting it on the "printed" side... don't. Peel & Stick is a solid white color, you do not want to cover the printed side. I purchased 2 pieces of 1/4 inch thick construction boards and an 1/2 inch to 1 inch bigger than the finished puzzle slide the puzzle onto one board cover with the other board and then "flipped" it. Peel & stick to back of puzzle as close to the edges as you can, the next piece I would overlap by 1/4 inch, I then used a metal pancake spatula and pressed it down pretty hard and it works beautifully!

Q: can the sheets be cut? i have a heart shaped puzzle.

Yes! This is the perfect answer for you then - the sheets are something like 'shelf paper' to cut. You can easily cut it into any shape you want. There are grid lines to follow if you want to cut in a linear way - but it is very easy to cut in any shape. That being said, there are separate sheets so if your heart shape is larger I would just tape the sheets together, trace the shape with the puzzle on top, slip the puzzle off and then cut, peel and stick:)

Q: how do you get your puzzle on its back?

Find 2 large sheets of cardboard (larger than the puzzle) and sandwich the puzzle between the cardboard. This will allow the entire sandwich to be flipped on its back. I just use cardboard cut from amazon shipping boxes.

Q: Can i cover a 500 piece puzzle with this or only 1000 piece?

You can use it on one 1000 piece puzzle or 2 500 puzzles per package. I used Mod Podge glue on the front picture and once the puzzle is dried, I flipped over to the back and peeled the sheets on the back. Hope this helps. Linda
