I first tried the phade straw at one of my local coffee shops and was so pleasantly surprised when they told me it was a biodegradable alternative to plastic (and paper) straws. It feels just as sturdy as a plastic straw, and they come individually wrapped in the box, so it's perfect for on-the-go use or to simply use at home. Awesome product! Definitely recommend for all eco-conscious households looking to get away from plastics.

I am so excited that they come in my favorite color and they are biodegradable! They don’t get soggy like the cardboard ones from some restaurants. There is also no odd taste like the cardboard (paper) straws.

Good value, so much better than paper straws, but not as bad for the ocean as plastic.

I got them because of the color, I like the pretty marine blue. I wish they came in the option to be unwrapped... taking off the paper is one more step I'd rather not do :-)

I am clumsy and have nerve damage, so I prefer my drinks with a straw. I have tried every paper and compostable straw I can find, and these are by FAR the best.
