USA Stick Flags 12x18 Inch - 12 Pack Hand Held American Flags for Parades

I bought these for my father's grave. I like the better than the hard cotton ones. They don't seem to last too long. Cons: the flag slides up and down on the stick. Also the gold arrow pops off. I sit and hot glue the cap on and dab glue on the stick and make the flag stay in place. They last 3 to 4 months depending on the weather. The price is a bit high considering the maintenance you have to do to make it work. Still like the flags.

We buy flags to put out in our neighborhood on specific holidays and these well made but, the shaft is only 24 inches long and if you are putting into the ground- the THE BOTTOM TIP OF THE FLAG TENDS TO HIT THE GROUD which is not proper flag etiquette- also the gold tip at the top is plastic and comes off easily. I will go back to the original vendor for my next purchase for the neighborhood.

These are pretty much what I expected. For the price, they seem perfectly fine. I know from previous stick flag purchases that the decorative tips come off sometimes. I rub a little E6000 clear glue where the stick and tip meet and hopefully it helps hold the tips on until the flags need replacement again. When I replace the flags, I remove the tip and hold on to them in case I lose one from the new flags. I also save the sticks to prop up plants.

The flags are good quality. We left them out for a month and the haven't faded very much. The sticks are short. If you push them into the ground, the flag is pretty much on the ground. The big problem is that the flags are not attached to the sticks. We tried staples. That didn't work. We tried tape. That looked bad. We used a drill and small screws in the end. Still, under high wind, the flag ripped from the screw and we then tried hot glue, which was a mess, but worked.

The flag material is good quality. The shipping was timely and they arrived in good shape in terms of not damaged. As others have noted, the plastic points at the top come off easily and the flag slides down the stick so you have to fasten it somehow (I used water proof glue on both the point and the stick. The stick needs to be longer if you plan to put it in the ground. The depth you have to go to keep it standing straight up can cause the flag itself to touch the ground. For the ones I am putting by grave sites, I purchased a longer dowel rod. The seller said it was 1/4" but I found that 5/16" is closer to the correct size (the size of the rod that comes with the flags is bigger than 1/4" but must be metric because it doesn't match up exactly with any of the rods I checked) 5/16" made the cap fit tighter - better.

These flags are silk, take a long time to fade and they never fringe on the edges. I keep on on my husbands grave all the time at the National Cemetery.

I finally posted these Flags this past 4th July. I was disappointed. 1. The fabric is not attached to the stick. It's just in the sleeve, so, after being in the wind the Flag slides down the stick and onto the ground..Not Good .. .The fabric should be stapled or glued to the stick. 2. The crown plastic point at the top of the stick, several were just sitting there. I had to glue them on to secure them. 3. The sticks are to short. Once inserted into the ground to support the Flag there is little room between the Flag and the ground. Made is USA is good, but this product needs some serious QC (Quality Control) to correct these deficiencys.

Love these flags. Nice size and made well. Only negative is that a quarter of them came without the top that holds the flag in place. It's too bad the person who packaged them didn't notice. I'll have to staple it to the rod.
