Ticket to Ride: Europe 15th Anniversary Edition

My 8-year-old daughter loves ticket to ride, so we got this for Christmas. It’s a massive box, and the build quality is phenomenal. I love that the trains are different colors and models. It comes with a number of expansions - but that really just means it has more destination cards to pick from. If you have played tickets to ride, you’ll pick this up quickly. If you have never played ticket to ride, you can pick this up in a half hour or so. We order this to the original, I think because the trains themselves are more fun to play with, but I C also like how much more variation you get on this map in terms of the routes to can make. The only negative is that because so many “expansions” are included, we have to sort through the destination cards each time to include only the ones we want. Also, the stations are a little fiddly in terms of their mechanic, so you should read and re-read the rules for them before your first game.

Great addition to our collection. Board is larger than original, deluxe train pieces look cool and has all the expansions included. Buy this if you don't have TTR Europe already. Easy to learn and fun to play over and over. Love the stations addition to the game, makes strategies easier sometimes.

The original American version of Ticket to Ride is hand down my favorite board game to play. The Anniversary Edition of Europe is very similar to that original version, but different enough that it warrants having both of them . Anyone familiar with the original will have an easy time playing this version. But, there are a few subtle differences that don’t make it feel like you’re playing a more expensive version of the original. The attention to detail in the Anniversary Edition are amazing: the immense amount of destination tickets: the very ornate game board: and most all of all, the insanely amazingly well done mini train cars that look like real train cars. When I saw the announcement in the spring for this new edition, I got very excited. Everything about the finished product met or exceeded my lofty expectations. Whether you are already a fan of the Ticket to Ride franchise, or are interested in getting into the game for the first time, you will not be disappointed in this edition of the game!

My family has played the US map/version of Ticket to Ride (TTR) for many years. I own the commemorative version (10th Anniversary edition) of TTR, and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed playing it. I’ve played TTR Europe via the app on my iPad since it was first available. I say all of that to say, I’m no novice when it comes to TTR. First the positives…this commemorative edition (15th Anniversary) is absolutely gorgeous. The trains are very detailed, and each set has its own corresponding tin. The box is well designed and organized with a place for everything. The board is beautifully finished, and everything, including the Tickets and Train cards have a quality feel to them. The game itself is challenging and fun, but…. Negatives: While the addition of the Ferries and Stations make the gameplay different and challenging, the addition of the Tunnels (routes of unknown length basically) significantly slow down the whole game. It took us three hours to play one game and it became very frustrating, so we’ve decided as a family to remove the Tunnels from future games. The only other negative is re: the confusion of which Destination tickets to use (1912 version vs Big Cities version, etc). Basically, if your family likes games of strategy, this is definitely a game you should try! We love it!!

I love ticket to ride the USA states version and this Ticket to Ride Europe15 year anniversary version is awesome and worth spending the extra cash as opposed to the original. It has everything nicely packed in tins and the trains look awesome. The train cards and destination cards are nice and big which means you don't have to get the "Ticket to Ride Europa 1912 Board Game EXPANSION" pack which gives you the bigger train and destination cards. If you think about it you are already getting the expansion pack in this game set and the expansion set probably runs around $25. So as stated, it is worth getting this game. I just got it and can't wait to play it!

This game is amazing. This version is perfect and has amazing components. Any Ticket to Ride fan will love this anniversary box. I'm glad I purchased it when I did as I believe the price is going up, but if you can find it for a good deal, then snag it for your enjoyment.

This anniversary edition is very well crafted and fun to play.

Bought the normal edition as a gift for a friend. We loved it so I waited for a good deal on the 15th anniversary edition. It is a slightly larger board with beautiful artwork. Everytime I look at it I notice something new. The same goes for the playing cards, the artwork is different from the basic edition. The trains come with boxes for each colour and they actually are designed based on what they transport, cars, logs, post etc. This also includes an expansion pack with more tickets to play multiple variants like 1912 edition. Every single item of the basic edition is reworked including the tiny player's point tracker. An absolutely worthy eye candy board game.

Es muy básico pero entretenido el juego, no hay muchas acciones por hacer solo 3: - Robar 2 cartas (o 1 si es comodín). - Descartar las cartas para colocar los vagones exactos en su sitio. - Tomar otro ticket de ruta. Es un juego que puede jugar cualquiera, es para no conocedores, pero que pasarás un rato divertido y que puedes sacar a la mesa con amigos que no son tan jugones (jugadores de juegos de mesa). La calidad en este es la mejor, sin duda vale la pena más que cualquier otro, incluye bastantes cartas, el inserto es increíble, no necesitar colocar ningún accesorio, el juego ya viene perfecto para lo que es.

En plus de la beauté des wagons, on y trouve toutes les cartes trajet émises de l’édition originale et de toutes les extensions parues en 15 ans. Attention: le mode d'emploi version papier dans la boîte n’est présenté qu’en anglais (pour la version ticket to ride que j’ai achetée) mais sur le site de l’éditeur du jeu, il est très facile de télécharger les autres langues. Cela vous évitera peut-être de payer plus cher la version française ”les aventuriers du rail 15e anniversaire” rien que pour avoir le mode d'emploi en français.

Picked this up during a black Friday deal and decided to spend a little extra to get the nicer edition. I don't get to play it enough to make use of the expansions provided and instead stick to the base Gane only, but the larger map and beautifully designed game pieces are worth the extra price. Absolutely fell in love with the tins and train pieces, although be warned that the game board is absolutely enormous and requires a large space to play. The large board is something that always forget about until we decide to play.
