Lovely machine. However, the bluetooth signal/reception is not strong. eg the connection was cutoff when I went to the room directly above or around the corner. In addition, when the connection is broken or when my HP goes to sleep, the stored data is deleted.

This item works great & temperature is accurate. The temperature target settings are easy to use.

There are a great number of disconcerting issues with this product.First, the instructions are not in any semblance of intelligible English. For instance, the instructions literally say use with "Android Version or above"- What does that mean???Straight away I was quite alarmed as the app required permission to know my exact location. For what? Why does this product need to know where I am- and to be clear, I am not talking about a general location based on towers, I mean the app requires specific GPS location. There is no reason my meat thermometer should need this.But even worse, this product will not connect with my version of Bluetooth (Samsung Galaxy S9+)- which is why that notation on the English instructions being useless. There is no help to be found. No video instruction.All of this means that straight out of the box, this is clearly not the product for this house.

I wanted a second digital timer I could use one in my smoker and one in my bbq grill. This one I like so much better it has 4 probes I can use at the same time, all I have to do is switch between each one. I can pre set the thermometer for the temp I want it to be or I can set a timer for how long I want to smoke the meat, cheese or veggies. I like how large the screen is I can be across the yard and glance at it and still see the temp or time left on the timer. There is also an app I can glance at my phone to watch the temps and timers. The timer uses 3 AAA batteries and there is 6 channels to use. It comes with 4 stainless steal probes. I dont have to worry something melting into my meats. The temp ranges 32° to 572°. The aluminium handle is up to 752°. So it wont melt at all!Comes with thermometer, 4 probes, 2 meat clips and instructions.

I want to update this and say again how amazing this product is. It allows me to put the probe in the oven set the alert and walk away knowing my food will be perfectly cooked! Two thumps up and that’s months after our initial purchase! Four probes, one hub, one app, and fantastic cooking. We have relied on the huge fork thermometer which has to be carefully washed and taken care of. It seemed to have inaccuracies and was forever a pain to use/clean. We bought small stainless steel thermometers that could go in the oven but those didn’t work well and have found their way to the trash. This however does work. It has 6 ports, comes with 4 probes that can withstand oven/smoker/grill temperatures and are easy to detach and wash. The app is easy to connect to and set your preferences with type of meat and the internal temperature you’re looking for. It has a timer and goes off as the probe reaches the desired temp. This has been a game changer for me. I can have this in the raw food for the entire time it is cooking so my meat comes out exactly as you’d hoped. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
