In short, this is a good bed (5 star quality) - however, it has some scope of improvement. If I have to buy again, I would expect those aspects to be improved. Read on for more detail: This is my 3rd seesham bed I have bought from online portal (from different sellers). Quality of main structure of two of them were good, but they had cut corners on the quality of the ancillary items (like the bed board and the storage drawers). More concerning has been the finish - one of the manufacturer had sent a bed which had a severe mismatch between its height and the height of the drawer. Since the fault was discovered only after getting the bed fitted, it was a big hassle to opt for return/exchange, so I had to add height raiser so that the drawers can slide in properly. This one (my 3rd bed) I bought from EBansal. Quality of material seems authentic, but the best part if the finish part - everything fitted well without any hiccups. Before finalizing I was going through reviews and one of the reviewer had mentioned a problem of the head side board not being securely closed. Seems like the manufacturer has listened to the issue, and the one I received , has a click-locking mechanism- making it securely closed. Now what I'd like to see imporved: The head board needs to be at least 3 to 4 inches higher. One of the pronlem one the the reviewer has mentioned (of limitation in how thick mattress can it accommodate) - that limitation is still there. And if the cushion on the head-board is expected to provide support in working or watching TV in semi-upright position, then the it needs to be higher. So if the height of the headboard gets increased by 3 to 4 inches, then: 1. the allowable mattress thickness can be increased. 2. It will be possible to use it for semi-upright use.

Writing the review after using it for 2 months 1. Packing came in neat, but they are very heavy, I paid additionally for the delivery guys to take it to my bedroom on 2nd flr 2. You don't need carpentry skills to assemble it, you can do it yourself. It's very straightforward 3. It's a solid wood furniture of fine quality 4. Draws are very spacious and sturdy too On the flip side 1. Backrest could have been a little higher 2. You can't put a mattress thickness of more than 6 inches because of the because of the protruding backrest 3. Drawers are independent units with out hinges and keeping them aligned when opening & closing is a challenge. While there are some drawbacks, it's still a good buy for the price you pay

The product is sturdy, pure sheesham as promised and easy to assemble at home. My brother was able to do it by himself. Overall it’s heavy so you must have one or two people to lift for help and support(True sheesham). Very comfortable and great quality. The delivery was seamless too. We got the call at 8 am in the morning that the product will be delivered on that day and it was delivered before time. Highly recommended!

Quality is good, fitting is easy need two or three people to support, storage box planks are not of much quality. Why I gave single star is because gas springs which are for hydraulic function are not working. They are not at all moving or closing. Seller should check before shipping. I raise a complaint and am waiting for a solution. If seller respond and give a solution then I will review again. See the video gas springs are not working

Bed is not balanced uneven leg. Wooden thickness is very thin

The product is solid seesham wood with greenply mdf but installing it was quiet a task. The storage ply was not of equal size and required a carpenter for fitting in the groove

Bed frame's wood quality is good and strong. Storage box wood is thin may be around 15mm thickness but is not strong enough. There was a damage in one of the storage box due to transit handling. So the wood of box is not strong/thick enough to face any mistakes in transit handling. The reason for handling mistake goes to the way it's packaged. The 4 storage boxes are stacked all together into a single box. Since they are empty hollow box they tend to get pressed against people's knees while loading or unloading from the truck which breaks the boxes. To avoid this bed manufacturers can make storage boxes of slightly thicker wood or help handling of the package by placing internal support woods inside box to prevent it from getting pressed innerwards. Bed can be assembled by ourselves. It's very easy. Overall it's a best buy for me in big billion days with offers on top of the sale price.
