its not like the other timex watches, its quiet and dont hear any ticking. My friends own some weekenders and if its somewhat quiet, i can hear the ticking.

Blackout/red silicone: Bought this for the indiglo feature. Says indiglo on wtach face. But no indiglo. Anyone have this problem?

Yeah, I know. I bought two of these. The Black one like yours and the one with a Green band and lighter colored numerals. Both were Returned - for exactly the same reason! No Indiglo on either. I just figured the batteries were 'Zilch' on both... and I was Not about to Buy new batteries for brand new watches, that still had that tiny plastic collar around the crown. I'd advise you to do it too... and tell them the same thing I did - NEITHER WORKED! I'd tell'em the same thing! Maybe they'll start checking them out to make sure they work BEFORE they send them out. I also told them: They Wasted a lot of my time (having to wrap them up and ship them back), which I should Charge Them for! (Oh yeah, neither of mine 'would even start ticking' when I removed the collar and pushed-in the crown!) Regards
