TajimaCR201R-2 Chalk-Rite II Snap Line with Triple Speed Rewind

I work construction, I consistently use the red and blue chalk line for different applications. Red is for more permanent lines, the blue for marks that need to be cleaned away.The Tajima has a very nice centering on the dummy end that makes it easy to snap true lines on your own. The chalk box has a smooth bull and offers consistent lines over and over again. I recommend the .05mm line thickness for standard construction applications.The tajima pulls nicely and snaps well. It’s easily handled with gloves on or off, has yet to bind on me. I build in Vermont and we build timber frame so it sees a lot of wear and tear and keeps ticking, even after falling off roofs, into nature, etc. overall a great chalk line and I’d recommend them over any other brand

I don't normally write reviews but being in the construction industry I had to say something about this chaulk line. As it is by far the best line on Amazon. You'll pay roughly double what you would for a regular line, and it's worth every penny. This line is in a league of its own! Simply put, YOU WILL NOT REGRET BUYING THIS!

Had one for 20yrs, plastic mechanism inside finally just wore out. Best straight line ever owned (I'm a carpenter), just bought same one again, I'm sure will last another 20yrs!

I'm also a union framer out of Cleveland I think think this chalk box is great,I've found that the tajima brand chalk does stay on the line much longer than the more course name brands you may find in home centers and hardware stores.My only regret in buying it is that unfoutunatly it is made in China. By the way Travis you may want to check your grammer and spelling before you call someone a retard.Of course scabs don't have to be educated to run work.

The string broke continuesly. Paid $42 for it. Expensive mistake . I would not recommend this. Maby I got a defective chalkline but either way very disappointing.

Live this tool. Use it all the time!

Im a union carpenter who does a lot of layout. This chalk line is very well made and leaves very nice tight lines. Its not your normal string in the box, its more like a spider wire, very elastic like but leaves nice crisp lines.

I have been framing for 12 years and I haven't found a better chalkline. The ONLY downfall of this product is I only get about 3 lines per pull. But I just can't give up the super strong line, quick reel, crank lock, comfortable feel.
