Does it work in the rain?

It works less well, if at all, in the rain. I have discovered cats don't like the smell of coffee nor do they like the smell of citrus. I've tried both, and both work but coffee is best. I spread our old coffee grounds rounds where the cats did their business, and it worked well and kept the cat away, but that too is impacted by rain. NB coffee grounds can affect some plants, so take care if you try them!
