This book is about Oleg and Story. Oleg can’t speak As he had parts of his tongue cut off. He goes to a club near by and hears Story sing and falls in love with her. They have a lot of ups and downs as people are after Oleg for what he can remember about the time he helped a doctor. This is a good read

I've been waiting to read Oleg's story. The mysterious enforcer with an unknown past and fixation with the charismatic lead singer of a local band. So little is known about him other than his loyalty to his Bratva brothers and his constant presence in the background of the first two books in the series.I loved how this book worked with Oleg's muteness and his learning to open up and communicate with Story and his Bratva family. The Oleg of page one is a very different person to the Oleg of the end of the book. I fell for him so hard through the course of this book, hearing his inner voice, history and feelings for Story. Under his silent exterior he is a dark and passionate Dom with with a whole heap of unspoken dirty talk.Story was such a great character. She was so accepting. And her empath abilities to interpret and understand Oleg's feelings was beautiful to read. She was a real presence both on stage and off and through the book is on her own journey of acceptance and realisation. Oleg is her constant and she learns to love and accept this.As with the whole of this Bratva series, Renee writes a gripping and emotional story of love, family and Mafiya dealings. This odd combo of characters work in their communal living situation and Story is a great addition to the dynamic. And as much as I loved Maxim and Ravil, Oleg definitely holds a special place in my heart 💓

Very exciting and engaging story!I love the characters and their development.The story was extremely satisfying and kept me on the edge of my seat.

Oleg has not had a great life in Russia. He meets Story a singer in a band. In a club in America and falls in love .Really loved this book now to read the rest in the series.

Great story and worth buying as not on Prime. Don't normally write a review but loved the singer / enforcer angle and how they learned to communicate.

Such a good series. Renee captivates you from the first page until the last. Loved finding a new author to read. My kindle library has swollen lately lol.

Long story short- Oleg is my favourite man in this series (so far? I'll find out if anyone can take his place).Story is well written, easy to read and thoroughly enjoyable.

Good read

I've read a few stories from this author but this one is my favourite! I couldn't wait to read what was going on in Oleg's mind! Better to read as a series but you wouldn't be lost if you read any of these stories individually.

“The Enforcer” is the third book in the Chicago Bratva series from author Renee Rose. The books in this series are interconnected stand-alone stories. I have read and enjoyed the other 2 books in the series as well, but I have to tell you that this one is really something special. I don’t want to give any spoilers, so I’m trying to choose my own words with care and its tough because I also want to go on and on about it!Oleg was an intriguing character in the other books of the series and I was hoping we’d get his story. But how do you share the story of a mute mafia man? (Answer? Renee Rose weaves her word magic, that’s how.) His silence made him especially interesting and left me with so many unanswered questions … which I can happily say are now answered! Oleg has been incredibly attracted to Story, the lead singer of a local band. She’s a musically talented but relationship averse free spirit. When the story brings them together, the chemistry and connection between them transcends speech. This story is told in dual POV, which is critically important in allowing us to hear and experience things from Oleg’s perspective.There is plenty of dramatic action in this book, which I expected. But there is also a lot of emotion in it, to a degree that totally exceeded my expectations. Oleg’s silence – (because of physical reasons and also self-imposed) - is so profound and heartbreaking, as are the restrictions Story has placed upon her own life. I wouldn’t expect there to be sweetness in a mafia romance, but in this one, there is. I couldn’t put this book down until I had finished it. The secondary characters are nicely done, and some will be familiar if you read the other books in this series. We also get a strong hint at who will be featured in book 4, and I’m already looking forward to it.

Diese Liebesbeziehung entwickelt sich etwas anders als sonst, der Held der Geschichte kann nicht sprechen und so gestaltet sich der Start etwas mühsam, aber es lohnt sich, für die Heldin und für den Leser, dran zu bleiben und auch zu sehen, wie die anderen sich weiter entwickeln und ich warte und freue mich schon auf die nächste Geschichte!

Great book, the author really knows how to capture the audience. I highly recommend this and her other books too.

At first I disliked the main male character. He seems very dark, angry at the world, and refused to let anyone come close to them. The female character was ditzy and quirky. But she was a ray of sunshine that lit the world of anyone around her, following the ups and downs of the love story was a very compelling. I would recommend it to anybody who loves romance books.
