Had to purchase for a course. Has a few good articles but not a necessary partner text in my opinion

The book has enlightened me. it has given me better understanding about pop culture within the framework of cultural theory. Thanks.

I had to buy this for school, I wouldn't have bought it for any other reason.

I kept wanting to agree with the sentiments contained within and discussions, and though I did often, there was a reoccurring theme in my mind: I hope no one is being paid write this, as I cannot see what necessary service it renders to society.
