Every plant owner should have them
Great product, I've had before and great results. I was using peat potting soil and also watering too much. Now I use peat free compost and an Aquameter on every one of 10 plants. Great results.

House Plants
I use these for my calatheas and plants that are in pots without drainage holes to help me figure out when i should water. It is so simple to use, you just stick it in the soil. They turn blue once the plants has been watered, and as the soil dries, you can see the blue strip getting lighter and eventually turning to white. I like this as it helps me plan ahead with my plants.

Better than a cheap moisture tester
These things have helped me keep my houseplants alive much better than any other gadget so far. They're a bit pricey for what they are - if you have lots of plants, it does add up. But they are such a clever design, you may not mind. The refills are not very expensive , which is a blessing (it could have so easily been a "razor and blades" model with expensive refills to keep the revenue stream). They work so much better than any schedule based system (which I have also tried - and led to overwatering). Cheap moisture sensors I found to be so variable that they're almost pointless. If you're using them with succulents and cacti with fast draining soil, you'll want to follow the instructions to pre- activate them the first time you insert them as they may not get quite moist enough for long enough to activate just through watering. Also, when watering these kinds of plants, make sure to water the area around the sus tee directly as well to ensure it gets the contact with water it needs to reactivate - otherwise it may stay white even after watering and waiting 20 minutes.

Good product but limited
This product works great but i have realised that after 6 -12 months the inserts needs to be replaced and are costing the same amount of money as the new product. I will go next time for smart water meters.

Absolutely brillant
These are fantastic, not technical no batteries or charging involved just simple to use and to know when you need to water your plants. They turn blue when they detect moisture and slowly go back to white as the soil dries, we have tried other more sophisticated types which have proved useless in comparison.

Life saver for plants
I’m not that much of a green fingered person and some plants I could never get the watering right and so plants were either not watered enough or to much water.Since having these I am able to water the plants correctly and they just look greener and healthier. I even tested to make sure that when they show they need watering I tested with another water tester thingy (whatever you cal them) and it shows the same results!Easy to use, stick in the soil, water your plants when the indicator shows white! They are a plant saver!

Not as advertised
Once you place them with a plant and water it the card inside turns blue. It continues to be blue after your plant has dried out and died. Dont waste money on them
