I’ve been drinking yerba mate for a while now, and this BALIBETOV set is easily one of the best I’ve used. The double-wall stainless steel cup keeps the mate hot for a long time without burning your hands, and it has a nice weight and feel to it — sturdy but comfortable. The bombilla (straw) filters well and doesn’t clog, even with fine-cut yerba. It’s easy to clean and has a nice polished finish that looks great with the cup. LOVE THIS. Only problem is the size it a little bit bigger than I’m used to. The quality is well made. No leaking after a year of use. Design is clean and pretty great value

This is a great Mate Gourd and Bombilla set for beginners. I love mine and have used it non stop. I will caution if you are a beginner to mate, if you get super fine mate the bombillas that this comes with can only filter so much so you may need to upgrade for super fine mate. Otherwise great overall.

Perfect for what I need

Good material but was looking for the original one to taste mate better like the other nes made of squash wood.

I bought one as a gift and when I saw it being used and tried I got a second one just for me! Is perfect to clean, to hand for carrying on the street and the material is safe and does not change the taste of the Mate at all. I also have to say that I am a bit paranoid with the material of the recipients where I put food/drinks and for what I have been reading this steel is absolutely safe. The size also is perfect for having a good amount of drink but not having to hold a massive gour.
