Liked It On First Use
Having used black tire dyes before, I liked the flat "new" tire finish but the dye did not last long enough and eventually turned the tire brown-ish. Despite costing much more, I liked the restorative polymer concept behind BLAK and the reports that it was not too shiny. For my first use, I removed the wheels from my car (I was rotating them anyway), washed and dried them thoroughly, then laid them over a plastic utility bucket, to raise them up and be able to turn them over and not scratch the finished side.My BLAK package included 2 block sponge applicators, 1 foam paint brush, and 2 nitrile gloves, which increased the value and allowed me to use the product without having to buy applicators.BLAK is really thin, almost like water, and I quickly learned to NOT squeeze the bottle. Instead, I allowed some BLAK to dribble out onto the sidewall and run around the rim. Using an included sponge block, I could then easily distribute the product. Two things to note: 1) shake the bottle before opening and in between coats and 2) do not over rub the product - just wipe on or distribute it then let it be.After applying 3 coats to both sides of 4 17-inch tires, I only used about 1.5 to 2 oz. With 3 coats, the tires were a little more shiny than I like but not too shiny. The shine eased a bit over a few weeks and looks really good, now.Having learned how little BLAK was actually needed, the cost turned out to be much less than the tire dye I had previously used and the finish is much more substantial. My car sits out in direct sunlight all day and the tires need good UV protection. BLAK also worked well on the rear bumper's rubber pad, after applying painters tape to protect the white bumper.I also contacted Renew Protect about some concerns and got actual replies from the owner! Now I have a better idea of what products to use for specific applications, how little product is needed per application, and how much longer the product will protect what it is applied to. I wish I had known about this company's products years ago, and not wasted so much money on inferior car care products. There is a bit of a learning curve to using the products but with a little practice and experience the results are outstanding. Having used polymer car care products for years, I'm glad that I finally found and tried BLAK, with RP.11 the next on my list to try. I think this company has the best polymers available to consumers.

Lasts long time
I don’t usually comment but I have to say this stuff seems to really work! I am now going on 4 weeks now after applying and the tires still have a low gloss sheen to them even after car washes twice a weekThe key is preparation. The tires were scrubbed with tire cleaner, dawn and warm water with a brush until clean. Application of the product is not a quick and effortless task. The solution easily “stains” rims so have to wipe off quickly or remove with rubbing alcohol. I put on 2 coats and the tires still remain 60% of the day I applied. Will put another coat on as a touch up but tire shine lasting this long is a first for me

It doesn't last very long in super HOT Texas
I purchased this sometime ago before the 2023 heatwave here in Texas. The temp has climbed upwards of up to 110 degrees this year 115 last year in central TX. This info matters if you plan on using this product in these particular climates. Yes it is a very good product but really only last up 6 weeks in my opinion. If you're in a cooler climate this may last longer which I don't know. I am a commuter 25-50 mins on the road everyday in the super dry heat. Tire application is easy, before you gotta make sure the tires are super clean degreased and no dirt on clean rubber. After drying to the touch one application for base coat then your choice of either shine or matte look. I was spectacle at first but I took a count of how long it lasted with a weekly wash no degreaser or acid on tires for maintenance upkeep. after the 5th week it was clear it started to fade away. You could reuse the app to your liking, just expect it to last about 6 weeks in the heat. This product did last longer than Carpro's Dark Side which is like 1-2 weeks lasting in Texas heat. I hope this information helps you all in expectations in hot weather.

Brought new life to weather black vinyl trim.
A bit messy to apply but not difficult. Really made a huge improvement on black trim. We will have to see how it holds up. Worth the money even if it lasts only a few months. Trim was really weather beaten and now looks almost new.

I'm not done yet!
The stuff looks good on all the videos that I watched. I worked hard in the prep. Took the tires off of the jeep and cleaned them many times with a few different soaps, cleaners, and degreasers. I really wanted to give this stuff the best chance of working. I was ready to have the great looking long lasting clean tire like it shows. So I did the coating the way the instruction said and they looked good. After about 3 weeks the stuff was gone. Cleaned the tires up and you couldn't even tell I had put anything on the tires. Now you should know I use my jeep as a jeep. Mud, snow, water, and sand. I will try an coat the tires again. If any difference I will Update the review. I might try it with their glos product too.

Great product, saddlebags look refreshed!
The saddlebags on my 05 Road king look refreshed and nice to have that sheen on them a huge improvement , I’m sure it won’t last a year but that’s fine, I’ll review them in a few months to see how they are holding up. Instructions on the bottle are clear and while it’s runny as stated the finish is good, just have rags and something underneath like cardboard or a tarp.

Highly Impressive Product
Unbelievable Product !! . I saw a video on you tube on rejuvenating your golf cart rubber & trim. I just happened to have mine apart with the intentions of painting the body panels but when I saw this I figured why not clean up the whole cart. Worth every penny , can't believe the difference. It looks slick & shiny but is completely dry & not sticky or tacky like other silicone based products. Good preparation of surfaces is key as you need to remove all residues & grease. I used 50/50 ammonia & water. Then applied product. Check out my photos.
