i wanted a controller for my switch so i can play the n95 emulator on it without messing myself up trying to use the left joystick. its not gonna do the stuff a switch controller does, like screenshot, bc its not meant for the switch but it will let you play the games. it works and thats enough for me. also the colors are awesome. im a sucker for transparent green

I expected very little with these, but as I've used them, I've been pleasantly surprised. Everything feels very good in the hand, and buttons are nice and responsive. I particularly like the feel of the analog stick - the resistance is consistent and is almost kind of airy (in a good way). I imagine someone with beefier hands than mine might not like that smooth, easily-articulated movement in the stick; it is definitely a lighter resistance than that of any other analog I've encountered, which did initially confuse my muscle memory that is somewhat used to thumb-wrestling with standard analog stiffness. But you do get used to it pretty quickly, and now it's my favorite part of the controller.Some other reviewers have pointed this out, but it's worth repeating for those who want the feature: the space at the back for the rumble pak is only there for N64 asthetic reasons and is completely nonfunctional. There are no connectors inside and the transparency of the shell enables you to see that absolutely no part of the board was ever meant to interact with the slot. I find it kind of silly that, if you are going to alter the layout of an N64 controller to this extent, you would even bother to replicate that particular feature of the original, especially if it's just for show. Obviously this wasn't a deal-breaker for me, but it might be to some.Playing N64 games with a more modern controller layout feels at once sacreligious and delightful. Because it's a D-input controller with the N64's unique buttons, don't expect a whole lot of plug-and-play functionality with native Windows and Mac games. You will need to do some button mapping no matter what you're playing. Not a big deal if your expectations are set accordingly.If the above-mentioned things do not bother you and you don't mind how existentially upsetting it will be to play N64 games with anything other than the classic three-pronged monstrosity, then go for it! I'm very happy with these.

It's really light, feels like it would break in pieces with one drop.. But, it works well enough. It can't seem to walk in the south east direction though. It gets like stuck or something. You can sorta move the stick slightly above or below that stuck point, but can be really annoying.

Work really well on pc emulation. Buttons are very responsive and easy to plug and play

I got this as an early christmas present and i had a good time useing it. However i got shot down when i saw the rumble pack port was just for show.

Great controller for n64 emulator works great would recommend for anyone trying to relive those childhood classics

Wonderful feeling controller! Feels sturdy and stick feels SMOOTH! To fix issues with the bottom-right joystick input during emulation, go into your Project64 and follow this path: Options > Configuration > Plugins > Input (controller) plugin > and select NRage for Project64. Then when you set up your controller it SHOULD be fixed... That's what worked for mine!This also came with a few original n64 joysticks, which I used to replace on some of my regular controllers, so that was a nice bonus... These are really a GREAT find! I may just order them again to replace all my original ones...

Love the N64.I want that joy to never end, so these controllers help me fulfill that joy on non-N64 devices. On top of that, there's an arcadey layout to them so fighting game enthusiasts rejoice!And there's 2!!Give one to your partner in crime and lose hours reliving your retro games!
