Falling Out of Hate with You: An Enemies to Lovers Romance (The Hate-Love Duet, Book 1)

I don’t know how Lauren does it. But she does. She not only created this love story filled with passion, lust, desire, fire and love. She also created a story about family, loyalty and commitment. For those like me who have been a die hard Lauren fan, and have read all her books. I get so excited when past characters that we fell in love with make their appearance. If you think Kat and Josh or Reed and Georgia were on fire. Well let me tell you Savage and Laila are on a whole different level. This couple fight against the inevitable. The back and forth, bantering is intense because the magnetic pull is that strong. It doesn’t matter what they do to avoid each other, once they take that wall down, holy moly they are fire! Even when they are looking at each other I swear I can feel the heat between those two.This story made me laugh, cry, even cursed a bit and swooned. I also needed some cool air, because it definitely got hot, but I already said that, right? This is one love story that will slay you.

Wow!!! What a book Falling Out of Hate with You was! I went into this book not knowing what to expect from Lauren Rowe other that it would be great. Boy did Lauren Rowe deliver on that & then some! Laila & Savage are both unique characters. Laila knows what she wants & doesn't back down to anyone. Savage has an attitude that he could care less what people think of him. He has his close circle of friends & family & that's all that matters to him. Laila gets to be the opening band for the tour with Savage's band. I love seeing how everything plays out between them. The chemistry is HOT!!!! Laila gives Savage a run for his money. Lauren Rowe writes so you feel like you are right there in the book with everyone. I am amazed by the way she writes. It's so fun to see side characters from past books pop up & even scenes from a new view point. We have gotten to see bits & pieces of Laila & Savage before but to really get to know them is so much fun. Lauren creates such strong characters that you can't help but to fall in love with them. The music that goes along is HOT too!!! I can't wait for Falling Into Love With You to see what happens. Lauren Rowe knows how to capture you with her books & music.

Lauren is one of my favorite authors, so I 1-click everything from her, the moment she announces a release. I waited to read this so I could read the second book right after the first.I agree another reviewer that said there would be a lot of characters to keep up with if this is your first Lauren Rowe book. However, if you’ve read all of her amazing books/series then you’ll LOVE seeing some of your favorite characters again, and it’ll make the story even more fun.I’ve got to admit, this first book was a little maddening...I wanted to bash Savage & Laila’s heads together....I mean, stop playing games and just communicate already. However, the character development is phenomenal, and it makes the journey better to see where they started and where they end up.And....oh my gosh....the songs that Lauren wrote and included in this duet is amazing! I think it’s super fun, engaging and just freaking phenomenal! I’m blown away by this duet and the music.I don’t want to give any spoilers, just know that you won’t regret reading this duet. It’s definitely one that will stay with me and I want more!!

In Falling Out of Hate with You we get to meet 2 incredible musicians. First is Savage who is the lead singer of a rock band that has been out for several years. Then comes Laila who is fairly new to the music scene but she has just been hired to perform as the opening act for Savage and his band Fugitive Summer.These 2 are both so stubborn. Savage is mostly out for himself but he has an endearing grandmother that he calls Mimi that he would do absolutely anything for. When he first sees Laila he automatically sets his mind to sleep with her. Then he finds that his fellow bandmate and best friend also wants her, so he does the honorable thing and bows out.Laila has the hots for Savage but he's just a player and she doesn't want to get burned. These 2 argue over everything especially Savage's pension for always being late. They both flirt with others just to make each other jealous. Laila thinks Savage is sleeping with all the ladies, while Savage thinks Laila is seeing other guys. When these two finally come together it is combustible!Such a great story and I loved all the juicy details that Lauren Rowe put in. Like Savage's oral fixation. Oh my! This was funny in so many parts as well as sexy. My favorite type of story. Now ready for Book 2. Enjoy!

I can't say enough about how good this book was! It literally pulls you into Laila and Savage's epic whirlwind romance, and will have your emotions all over the place. These two have probably been my favorite characters I've ever read. And that's saying A LOT!Not to mention Lauren wrote the songs these characters sing in the book, and you can either listen to them with the link she provides in the book, or download the songs on Spotify, like I did, and listen to them sing the words to the songs as you're reading. It makes you feel like you're right there with them, and you can feel their emotions pouring through the songs. It's a phenomenal experience not to be missed!Laila and Savage are both characters that you'll quickly fall in love with, and you'll pull for them through the whole book to find a way to be together. Believe me when I say, when this book nears the end you won't be able to wait to read the next book to see where they end up.I know a lot of people don't like books that end in cliffhangers, but this book is worth it! This Duet is probably one of the best I've ever read, and when it was over it gave me a serious book hangover. I guarantee you'll read this, and fall in love.

Loved it!!!!The banter back and forth between Laila and Savage is fantastic had me laughing so much!The chemistry is out of this world but they are both so stubborn. I literally feel like everything is going to explode at some point but it will be oh so good!!Was so good seeing some old friends too!Cannot wait for the next chapter of their story!!

Another great book with another actual song link to listen too when you read the song lyrics during the story So love this about this Author it just brilliant .Loving the Hate and Love between Savage and Laila can’t wait to see how the story progresses in the next Book ,

Lauren Rowe never ceases to entertain and she has once again given us, in this first installment of The Hate-Love Duet, one cracker of a story that hopefully leads to an ever more impressive and entertaining conclusion.In book one, Savage and Laila meet amid mixed signals and misunderstandings due to typical male bonding code rules and egotistical stubbornness, which sends these two on a clash course of fiery sexual awareness and eventual heartbreak.Both Laila and Savage are as devious and sly as each other, but as we read, we not only see, but can actually feel the true nature and reasons behind their destructive behaviours, yet as we have come to expect from this author, Ms. Rowe writes in a way that envelopes these experiences in humour and joviality while keeping the integrity of the story, giving us such a captivating experience.This story is paced wonderfully and though most of the times we are really wanting to just push their two heads together and yell 'get it together you silly buggers', we don't want to stop reading!In addition to the engaging words on the pages, Lauren Rowe has shared her love & knowledge of music once again and given us a rocking awesome theme song to Savage and Laila's journey. And has so masterfully intertwined this song with the story may I add.Along the way, we also meet up with old friends from Lauren's other books which always leaves us with a smile on our faces and joy in our hearts.I am seriously so looking forward to the conclusion of this story in book #2.ROCK ON!!!

OHHHHHH EMMMMM GEEEEEE!!!! I feel like I need to take a cold shower, or find Adrian Savage and....well, we won't go into that here! Suffice it to say that this first book in the Hate-Love Duet from Lauren Rowe is INSANELY HAWT!!!! Adrian Savage (or Savage, as most people call him) and Laila Fitzgerald are two stars who collide in the night sky....and when they meet, the fall-out is literally EXPLOSIVE! The chemistry between these two absolutely leaps off the page! I honestly think that THIS book is the BEST book that Ms. Rowe has written to date! Adrian and Laila have burrowed deep into my heart and soul and it's not over, yet!I have to say that Laila is one of my favourite heroines! Not just Lauren's, but ANY heroine! She is so feisty and sassy, doesn't take sh*t from anyone yet, at the same time, her heart is as big as the ocean. She takes a stand and NEVER backs down so when she meets Adrian, who is the same way, they butt heads and the sparks fly! Added to that is the lust and sexual chemistry they BOTH feel and, like I said, it is explosive!!! The push/pull between them is a roller coaster ride I don't ever want to get off of!I can't WAIT for the second book in this duet that I KNOW will be in my TOP READS of 2021 and I have a feeling will be my "one to beat" fave of Miss Rowe's! I have a feeling we all need to buckle up because I think we're in for some turbulence before we get some smooth sailing!
