My unit arrived as expected and is heavy. So make sure you have a friend or a dolly to help position.Sound is excellent and produces the deep bass one would expect from a sub this large. Large? Yes very large. I'd suggest you check the dimensions to be sure you have a place to put it. Oh, the WA-2 wireless transmitter seems to work well and will give you more placement options if needed.The sound produced from this is good and provides the chest thumping low frequencies one would expect. Turn it up and you'll be rewarded with hearing everything that's lose in your house vibrating in unison with your music. Kind of light lighters waving at an old concert - yes, cell phones now.I'd suggest this as a secondary sub and fill in some of the gaps with a 10" sub unless your speakers are capable of filling the void. This is entirely personal preference. Just be aware you may be in the market for something.If you're in an apartment or multi family dwelling this might not be a good investment - at least not if you want to keep living in your current arrangement. But for those who don't have to worry about upsetting others you shouldn't be disappointed.
