CuisinoxJar Opener, Blue

This cheap opener was surprisingly well made. I was actually a bit shocked at how big this thing actually was when it arrived. I tried opening a few refrigerated jars I usually have difficulty opening, and this thing worked like a dream. For the price, you can't go wrong. Stop frustrating yourself trying to open jars with rubber bands/hot water/etc, and buy this!

I like that this item has improved from the last one.

Garbage. Totally unsuited for arthritis sufferers or people with small hands and requires a fair amount of strength to get a grip. The four spots meant to grab jar tops rarely fit, which means the ends are wide apart and can't be squeezed by arthritics, people with small hands or hand weakness. Ended up buying the OXO. One comfortable handle and excellent grip on the jars. It's worth the extra money.

Large and clunky. Difficult to use. Was supposed to help open jars easier but I find this item awkward to use. Must have a very strong grip to be able to use this. Need to be able the squeeze the handles tightly. Not convenient if you have trouble gripping.

I ordered this so I can open the pickled asparagus sticks I buy from costco since they're very hard to open. Imagine my disappointment when it finally arrived and I tried opening one of the jars... it doesn't fit! The jar's cap is still too big!
