Well made and sharp. Got them to replace the ones that came with our original knife set. Would definitely recommend.

I've owned a full set of French Sabatier knives (in 2 butcher blocks) for the past 30 years or more (I love them) and made-in-France Sabatier stout kitchen shears that have handled everything I've thrown at them. Finally, the screw holding together the two blades or the threaded hole in one has given up the ghost. Looking for a replacement, I searched thoroughly the several page line up of "kitchen shears" and was amazed at the number of brands and the number of reviews touting this one and that one ... but no Sabatier brand. In despair I finally typed in the Sabatier name and these shears showed up, almost as if someone was ashamed to include them in the roster. It's no longer made in France; China seems to be producing many, even those with European names. But the handles are comfortable and its rather thin blades cut surprisingly well. I tested it on paper, corrugated cardboard and those "impossible-to-open-sealed plastic packages, and it did better than another better-known brand, remarkable, considering its bargain-basement price. I don't normally use shears to cut chicken or other meat, but I suspect it's going to handle most of the other heavier tasks required of it. The tips also cut cleanly and precisely, so snipping parsley et al. should be part of its repertoire. It's not as stoutly built as the original and may not last as long, but it's still good to see Sabatier branded shears in the old wooden block again.

Nice kitchen shears. These and Kitchen-Aid are both about the same high quality.

The media could not be loaded. Very dull. Not sharp at all. This is my 2nd pair. The 1st pair was perfect.

They're excellent. I have never yet bought anything by Sabatier that wasn't.
