Perfect! A must have yard accessory!
Even though I gave a 5 star rating for "light weight", it should say, "perfect weight". Not too light, not too heavy. The base can be filled with sand or water to make them heavier, but so far they have sat in place through our monsoon season! Nothing added in the bottom! That is saying something, because the same winds took down a large potted tree... twice!We are using them on standard 12x12 pavers and there is plenty of room to move the pieces about!

Big hit with the kids and the adults. Has held up well
Great hit with both adults and kids here, I think it's one of the things that helped my grandson make it into the Governor's cup chess competition. Helps them think when they have to move the big pieces around. The adults love it too. We've had it for months now, and it's held up well outside.

So impressive!
We love them! The kids love them! The painter who painted our board was as excited as we were. The pieces were delivered as promised. The wee super easy to put together. We chose to fill the bases with water to weight them. Would highly recommend.
